I didn't say that. I said, if someone thinks powercreep doesn't exist, they can't correctly fill our your survey.
In other words: this creates yet another uncertainty factor for the results of your "poll" (on top of all the bias and everything mentioned previously).
Well.....MAYBE....for a few "Middle of the roaders". But some people like myself who aren't even 100% sure there is "powercreep", I am still 100% certain my purchasing habits in regards to Heroclix are not in any way affected by Powercreep, as my purchasing numbers are based on trying to attain "one of each figure" from each set....plus sometimes duplicates of generics like Moliods. Since I make my purchase order most of the time before knowing the contents of the set, I can safely answer with certainty that powercreep does not have any affect on my purchasing....and people who KNOW like myself why they purchase the amounts they do...should also not have their position on question 2 discredited based on possibly not believing in powercreep.
That being said, I did provide you with the data....stripped down of those people who were indifferent to or didn't awknowledge the existance of powercreep....and the results of question 2 were still pretty much the same.
No, I've given up on addressing things to Wizkids. They never listen. Well I suppose every now and then I have a wild hair and send them something, but.....they never listen. If hey actually cared, they'd parooze HCRealms and pay attention to the things that are issues for their customers...but over and over they make the wrong decisions.
I just find it...well it's actually pretty funny anymore...I used to care about their promotions. They almost always screwed up their promotions....and still do....but I used to care about them because they affected me more. I used to try hard to get all the LE's....but via another couple failed promotions...they've managed to break me of the desire to be a completist. Thier Zombie and ongoing unattainable chase figure promotions...and special Judge only LE's and creation of $40-$50 LE cardboard has ruined my desire to attain those things. So now it's just sort of amusement for me watching them do really dumb things that backfire trying to increase sales.

1) They do listen at times, and have responded
2) They clearly do (or have) peruse(d) these forums, as we've seen from some responses
3) Their "wrong"ness is often debatable. They do make mistakes, but no company is perfect.
4) Breaking people of completism is definitely an area that I agree completely. They have gone too far in some areas.
5) Chase figures are not supposed to, by definition, be obtainable by everyone, and are also not unattainable. They are, I agree to this extent, too rare. It takes almost two cases to get an SR set, so you should get one chase per two cases imho. The reality appears to be about one per 100 boosters, which is too rare (but does appear to help sales).
6) Judge LEs weren't for increasing sales directly, they were for rewarding judges. This is an example of responding, not ignoring. I'm not a judge, but I'm all for that program. We need dedicated judges! Dedicated judges help increase sales.
PS. If you could find 5 things that the realms community agrees on here, that would be major decisions for the company and would definitely help them, I would love to see that list. I'm pretty sure almost every agrees that LE prizes should be figures, not cardboard, so there's one. Any others that would be nearly universal?
I do agree with you completely on your ability to fill out the survey.

Responces to Comical numbered to match his comments:
1) They listen...but they listen to the loud dumb people....not the semi-loud smart ones. Example - The rule of three. This was a dumb solution for the perplex problem. They should have just fixed perplex so that it wasn't overpowerful. If perplex was balanced, then multiple perplex would be balanced too. So instead of "Capping" the amount of unbalance...they should have just balanced the power.
2) Which is in part why I write here. But they definitely prefer to listen to the "Wizkids yes men" as opposed to the "Devil's advocates"....and sadly it would be better for them to reverse that.
3) Their wrongness has reached laughable porportions. I should start a thread listing all of Wizkids bonehead moves. "Promotions" that drive away players.....over and over and over...what are they thinking? Look at just the Galactus disasters alone:
A - The opening fiasco at WWLA.
B - Selling a silly hunk of plastic for $70!!! And in limited quantities!! They priced it right out of most of their customers price ranges, and made it really hard to get, and had a limited supply so people who wanted it couldn't get it.
C - They said He would only be available for 1 year. (I thought this was a dumb idea, but if you're going to say something like that...at least don't lie...a couple years later...same sculpt, same stats, slightly newer paint job...And he's back.
D - The whole notion of Convention only figures....sort of kills the ability of some completists to attain figures short of the secondary market. Why do you want to treat your best customer demographic that way.
E - Coming of Galactus Banner - Shipped to retail locations with the prizes on the last week of the Comming of Galactus event.
And that's just the bonehead stuff from the Galactus promotions....there have been many others too.
4) Yup...How did they ever think that treating their best customer demographic that way would be "Good"?
5) Chase figures were just another kick in the groin of the competests. For a company that makes a "Collectable" game they sure don't know what the word "Collectable" means, and they sure threat thier collectors like the sludge at the bottom of the barrel.
6) I don't mind them treating the judges good. (even though it's probably illegal...it doesn't bother me at all....HONESTLY) but, I think the integrity of the game needs to be held above all else. They didn't need to potentially harm the game....and piss off completists even more...but doing something nice for the collectors. That's not a good thing.
PS) Yeah I'm not sure you can find 5 things everyone would agree on....there's too many people who excercise their civil rights to be wrong about stuff. Look at how many people out there who think non-mobile figures can compete with HSS figures....and haven't noticed the brokenness of the lack of mobility. It seems tactically obvious...and the top tournament results provides data that it's the case...but you get army's of dumb people out there who think: "Non mobile pieces just require Strategy to be played effecively". So there will always be people who will argue against things that would be good for the game....unanimous agreement just is just hard to get to happen...hell look at all the dumb people out there who argue against a "highlander rule". I think the best you can hope for is 5 things with "Clear majorities" that feel a certain way....then "highlander rule" and a few others would be in there.
first of let me start that EVERYBODY is biased, me included...
Obiwan said it best:.. it's true from a certain point of view.
in that everybody looks upon something from their own point of view and explains it in their way..
I really have no idea if the topic has changed, but I wanted to throw in my two cents.
1. I do not like Powercreep because it makes pieces I've collected obsolete in the game.
2. I'm buying less and less heroclix because the new pieces do not fit with the power levels of my old pieces, and as a strictly themed player, this situation ruins the game for me. I don't like Lois Lane having the same attack value as Booster Gold, and I don't like Robin costing more than Batman. This destroys the feeling, for me, of authentically fielding a team from the DC Universe. I didn't buy a single piece from the last set, and I don't know if I'll buy any from this new one.

Brazil,
You make some very good points, and they do make a lot of mistakes, and I'm also sorry that I set you off into rant mode.
I understand that they have killed the completist market, and it's coming over loud and clear that you're by nature a completist, and completely frustrated. Fair enough. I'm a pack rat too, and have my comic collecting areas that I've been over the top on. I understand. For heroclix, though, completists are not who buy the majority of the product. For every completist there are thousands of - get as much as I personally can affordists. Completists are simply NOT the "best customer demographic."
"70 for a silly hunk of plastic."
Check out the statue market. Tons of $150+ statues that cost a few bucks to create. Check out baseball cards. Subsets that would require tens of thousands of dollars to complete if trying to do it by opening cases.
Baseball card PACKS that are $129.95 retail price - and have ONE card in them. Blind purchase that might be worth $5.00.
Harry Potter limited edition scarves from Sears that sold on ebay for $150.00
McDonalds/TY gave out exclusive Beanie Baby pins to employees
Limited edition stuff is EVERYWHERE. Saying Wizkids doesn't understand collectibles, and that they're kicking you in the groin with every piece that you can't get is simply wrong.
My horror story was going to WWPhilly this year, a four hour drive each way.
Wizkids moved their booth into the tournament room. Seems simple enough, except I wasn't playing that day so I didn't go to the tournament room. I went to the convention floor where they sold stuff every other year, and there was nothing. I went to the gaming area, nothing. I checked the program under exhibitors, nothing. I asked at the information booth, nothing. They told me they must have backed out. With them backing out of other conventions I believed the info desk and went home at the end of the day without Azbats or Pirates convention stuff and very frustrated. When I found out later that they were there I asked about it and got no response. That's as stupid as a company can get!!! The error might have been Wizard World's but Wizkids managed to get me mad at them too. STUPID!
But I still like the silly hunks of plastic, and I like collecting the stuff, and I don't expect to be able to get every figure myself because it's not my right, and I choose not to make it my highest priority either. Wizkids, imho, is simply a company that makes a lot of mistakes but does a lot right, too, and puts out a fun product. and I apologize for being stupid.
And as to powercreep, I realize that to keep the game fresh they do need to add powers. Because the figures often depict different versions of the characters I don't mind having more and less powerful versions in my collection. BUT the "costing" of the powers really should be consistent. The costing should not creep.

I would correct you in that Completists are Wizkids "BEST" Customer demographic. I agree we are not thier "LARGEST" therefore not thier "MOST PROFITABLE" but on a single customer per single customer basis, completists are the individual customers who give the most money to Wizkids.
And I think I agree with everything else you said. Good post.
Wizkids does put out a good product...the basic idea of the game is excellent, and the comic theme of the game will keep it from dying as long as Wizkids keeps making new plastic figures. (And dispite all the other mistakes they make.) The reason all their other failed products didn't last was because of they didn't have the comic fans backing them.
Oh I guess there was one other thing I didn't agree with in your post. You're far from stupid.
Wizkids does make a lot of mistakes. And I'm not a touchy-feely political correct guy....I'm more the bull in the china shop type....and I'll keep pointing out Wizkids mistakes in hopes they correct them. I suspect they don't like me much. So that probably limits the amount of my messages that get through. But who knows maybe they'll at least look at the totals from threads like this and realize they don't need any intentional powercreep.
(And again...I'm still not convinced there is powercreep.) So long as, they stayed in the point formula, as far as I'm concerned then they haven't creeped in a bad way. I honestly haven't done any math at all to try to find evedence of creep existance. Maybe if I'm bored one day....or maybe someone else will figure it out.
