Did Jack vote in secret or did his vote piggy-back on mine or Malakim's?

Fascinating how JackAssterson got on there without actually posting a vote.

And as the mod himself has reassured us several times already that he does not make mistakes...hmm...

Started as a frustration joke (based on his number in the list), but I'm actually pretty interested to see where it goes now.

Such sarcasm. Care to explain where that's coming from other than frustration?

Somebody hijacked my democratic right to a vote of my choosing!

However, it seems that mystery voter type person wants in on the overall voting trend.

It was not sarcasm, don't take offense.

I was saying that it's not a mistake. Which means it's a power. That's information.

OK.

Let's assume that power allowed someone to target Jack and force Jack's vote in a direction of the power-user's choosing.

1. Does that mean the power-user is someone already voting for Pax (truly trying to get him lynched) or is it somebody hiding elsewhere?

2. Does the theft of a vote indicate something bad about the thief? We aren't sure of the alignments of either Pax or Jack.

3. Is Jack's vote thief the same thief from the prior day phases? Is it even working the same way? I don't believe there was a vote on Pax represented by question marks, the typical way these stolen votes first appeared in previous cases.

Perhaps their bloodlust had been sated by the day's earlier Kangaroo Court or, perhaps, they had decided there was safety in numbers. Either way the group came close to sending someone away for reconditioning...and then stopped; the man's fate teeteered on the brink but did not tip over the edge.

Night Three begins now. You have 24 hours to turn in any actions. My honest apologies though that the phase - while hopefully opening at that time - may be delayed slightly as my schedule has been far more intense than usual of late and has thrown things off. (That said there is a game-reason I didn't close this last Night.)

The Night That Seemed to Never End

Shortly after the call of curfew one man's bungalow received many visitors. He was briefly accosted by a woman, high-fived by an obese yellow'ish man and spoken to by someone that appeared to be a family member. He was starting to have enough of it - too many people...too much attention - when a thin young man stepped in to chase people away. The young man raised a revolver and fired it into the air, scattering people. The two acknowledged each other and sat down to wait out the night.

Down in a star-shaped chamber beneath the Village, a person was finished serving a sentence. The individual left the court, intent on teaching others about judicial responsibility.

Off the shores of the beach a bubbling roaring noise echoed across the breakers. Those who were cheating curfew too close to the area fled, knowing that the pale horse was on the way for someone.

The infirmary had a familiar guest that evening. A man walked over to the shroud-clad burned corpse and lifted the cloth shaking his head and whispered [size="1/2"]Sorry ol' chap....you...me.[/size]. Replacing the cloth the man headed to his bungalow.

The young man and the mobbed-man sat watching each other. The popular one attempted conversation with the younger but he merely stared back silently. It wasn't until some band music began to play that the young one began to pipe up with the occassional verse or chorus but that was all he would say. That amusement came to an end though as a roaring noise approached. The viscous glob rebounded down the pathway, coming for the two men. The young one pushed the other back into his bungalow. Hiding behind the door, the older man could hear the rumbling of the creature, a flurry of gunshots...and then silence.

get_1 has become a victim of the Village's defenses. He was Alexis Kanner (Number) who tried hard to figure out his path in life and ended up dying loyal to the Village without even realizing it.

Vicious X has returned to the game. Goodman has also returned to the game.

The Day phase will last 24 hours. A standard majourity is required for lynch.

Please accept my apologies for the phase going on far far too long. My reasons may be good but in the end, I still failed to accomplish my responsibility as a mod to you folks. I will be doing something for each surviving player to help make up a bit for it.
