Apparently standing next to someone magically makes you lose your powers, your guns, and anything else that you might shoot at someone at point blank range.
I like to think of it as an Optic Punch to the Face.
After all, if Green Lantern can make a giant fist, Cyke using a concussive blast (e.g., the EXACT same kind of force as that of a punch in the face) point blank ain't that much of a stretch.
Longest-Reigning Drunken HeroClix Champion - anyone got a liver?
The Game Trading Ad for Giant Size X-men. The scan is much larger with more detail in it, it is much bigger then the tiny picture we have of GSX ad we all see on the realms.
That is definitely an activation click on armor. Looks like a 14 with close combat reflexes, not toughness to me. Makes sense, she doesn't walk around armored up. I expect her defense will go to 17-18 with at least invulnerability and her dmg to at least 3. It would allow her to run up to base, then push the next turn to armor up. Although... you are asking a color blind guy to decipher color.
so what's with Magneto having #048? I can't make out the picture that well, but it seems he's a SR based on the tab (or are the peanut based characters moving from super-booster to regular booster throwing off the set numbers?)

There 55 characters in the set from what I have read & if you see Jamie Madrox on the first page he is listed as #56 & he is the BiBtB
1-15 are probably Commons
16-30 are probably Uncommons
31-45 are probably Rares
46-55 are probably Super-Rares
so that means that Magneto can be a Super Rare with at #48
Magneto is pure win. I am so happy to finally get a new Magneto that is not a one click wonder or too old to play in modern format, now bring on some of his Brotherhood followers so we can get some real BoM versus Xmen battles going!
Not to hinder speculation, but those images of the figures are the digital renderings. It is possible that the dials are just random assigned numbers and have no bearing on the actual dial.
I hope not, but it is quite possible.
I really agree with this, and almost hope it's true... Just WizKids/NECA going the extra mile to get all us rabid fanboys whipped into an unholy lather as we obsess over what the rest of the dial will look like, or how overpriced / undercosted the dial is judging by That One Shown Click... Remember how much fun we had with the first picture of AW Mystique (with the visible click being that of Princess Kori'andr) (if memory serves)? Ah, good times. WizKids/NECA has to have their fun, too...
Because as much as I love him (and I'm looking forward to NextWave more than anything else in this set by quite a little bit), if you're concerned with *ahem* fictional character accuracy, that click shown for The Captain really should not be ANYWHERE on his dial. It's way too good. Heck, even if he only has that ONE click of life to compensate for that being such a great click, it shouldn't be THAT great click....
Having said that, I sure hope it's true! After all, HE'S THE CAPTAIN!
Bring on the NextWave previews!
Okay, we got to 19 pages with two dials previewed, so clearly with Magneto added, we'll shoot forward to 29 pages. If we add ten pages for each figure, this is going to be a very long thread. : - )
