Because she's really not? I dunno... Peggy never seemed very evil to me in that show. At least compared to some of the others.
No but I keep hoping for the Very Special Episode where we find out the old secretary lived and it was really Peggy who died and people just couldn't wrap their mind about someone so young dying so horribly and they tried to imagine it differently.
I don't care if it's jumping the shark - it's worth it to be rid of her.
(I used to partially blame the actress but as I'm almost tolerating her in The West Wing, I now totally blame the role.)
"Nobody important? That's amazing. You know, in 900 years of traveling time and space I've never met someone who wasn't important."

See, I see her, and I think Zoey! So maybe I'm just coming at this from a different angle. Zoey was awesome. Well, until they did the whole "terrorist" thing.
If you are watching West Wings right now... I think you need to skip seasons 5-6. 1-4 and 7 are all you need.

Oh, definitely coming at it from the wrong angle as to me, Charlie (Dule Hill) is Gus.
It's a bit odd I hadn't gotten into West Wing sooner - I love Aaron Sorkin's other works (yes, including "Studio 60" which I dearly wish had survived), and many of the cast are people I greatly enjoy elsewhere (e.g. - Bradley always gets my attention and Rob Lowe has really redefined himself to me between this and his role in P&R). On the other hand, the show peaked at a time where television viewing time was scarce for me and I didn't exactly have DVR access.

See my previous post about the apparent similarities between Everwood and Hart of Dixie? Nina was the name of the originally married woman that the main character (doctor) was interested in Everwood. Reverse genders and Scott's character is the Nina of Hart of Dixie.
