Gonna tear up some Tar heels. I WILL be at that game! Going to see the Big Blue All Stars VS The Villains tommorrow night for the wife's birthday. The Villains are headed up by Christian Laettner. Laettner is infamous in KY for hitting a last second shot to win the 1992 Regional Final for Duke and eliminating that year's KY team.
I saw that game when I was like 10. He's not infamous around these parts, he's legendary. I don't like Duke either.
Idiot Meal 2 is going to be a huge mess of organized chaos that will not reflect normal Mafia in the slightest if anyone wants to join a game of complete ridiculousness =]
As I'm so far not getting (allowing myself to become) interested in the other, non-comics-derived clix sets, almost all of my Heroclix attention is fixed on Hulk the three Hulk releases, along with the TRU Frost Giants (if I can get a couple), Superman "Battle for Smallville" FF Pack and the GSX FF Pack (not mentioned since the Montreal Trade Show back in June) if that actually pops up on the formal schedule. I see they'd done another partial update of the Hulk Units, bringing it up to 12. Six more (John Jameson, Man-Wolf, Lyra, Matt Murdock and DDx2) and it'll be up to date.
A little less than 6.5 weeks until that set hits, so given the size we're filling in the details fairly early. With one week less than that until the single-booster sub-set I do wonder if they'll start to show us more of those instead soon.
Of course, I'm even wondering if they're going to be sticking to the scheduled release dates. Nov. 30th for the micro-set, and Dec. 7th for the main set and FF pack.
I'd sign up, Chi, but the 6 hour days will present a problem of availability.
That is a good point, but it is to try to get players lynched faster (of course, if you miss a day phase, and you survive, it just goes to the next day phase. I'm looking forward to a fun experiment nonetheless =]
Damn pocket universes and their alternate time-flow rates!
Yup!
The setup for IM2 is the day phases are 6 hours, and if there is no lynch, it goes straight to the next day (and 1 player is randomly killed). If there is a lynch, the lynched player wins and last player to vote gets killed. Every player has 10 powers they can use during the day to basically make other people vote for players to try to kill them off. It will most likely be an extremely fast paced game of, as I put it, organized chaos.
Nights are even crazier. They are 24 hours long like normal, but everybody will make someone else a PGO, which means the next player to target them will die. If Player A targets Player B, and every other player then targets Player B, only players A and B will survive the night! (almost half the players died on Night 1 during IM1, though nobody knew that everyone had the same role that game).
Idiot Meal 1 was the April Fools game I started that led Suga to say what is in my quote (as nobody signed up for it, I just sent out 15 roles and everybody played!).

If they opt not to lynch, they will have a higher survival rate with only killing 1 person instead of a potential of losing half or even more during the night phase.
I know that goes against the spirit of the game, but there could be some cut-throat players.
I'm happy to see the Secret Santa sign-ups running so strong this year. We still have a bit before the gates close and the official number of participants (105) is already 10 more than last year.
Okay, just had someone join my Monster Mash social group who's username is not quite the sort of monster I had in mind when I created the group. Kind of surprised he was allowed to use it to be honest with you.
Gotta go to work now. try not to leave me an hours worth of reading to wade through when I come home.

Ha ha ha, I had to go look at the guy's name, it made me laugh.
(I'm quite sure mods don't monitor much the screen names of new users, unless reported or it being all over the place)

What's the big deal. Poultry can't be monsters. Sheesh!
I never thought of it as a ME thing, i thought of t as im getting what I NEED and in return im helping the Uni/College pay for facilitys and other sports that other wise would not get funding. Football(which I played) earns 80-90% of revenue that funds ALL college sports. So if you take the selfish view and think about what your NOT getting thats your Issue. I just viewed it as me helping out a place that gave me a chance and gave me what I couldnt get myself.
I would address this, but I don't want there to be hard feelings.

For the last time Miraclo, NAMBLA is not a social group you should join.
