Out at a Xmas party, and the DJ played the video for LMFAO's "Sexy and I Know It".

2) it was the funniest thing I've seen in weeks.

Alan Moore's Neonomican was an odd mixture of dead-on Lovecraft and Alan Moore being a nutjob. Also had at least one scene that was supremely disturbing.

That's all I've read recently, but I know there's more out there. Including some works that are straight adaptations of Lovecraft works rather than attempt to mimic his style.

So I catched the end (the important bit) of Snakes on a Plane yesterday, and in the credits I noticed they had a person responsible for Samuel L Jackson's hair.

So what exactly did you think that job entailed? Head polish? Picking crumbs out of his mustache?

On an unrelated note, why is it that if one figure can beat a second figure, the second figure is then said to suck, even if it can beat 95 other figures?

Is general discussion just full of trolls, or do people legitimately not understand that an outlier is not an average?

Maybe it is time to release a real Powerbomb set, one where the ambition is that every figure will be played at Worlds. That would be popular don't you think?

Within the last couple years someone published some straight Lovecraft adaptations. I distinctly remember reading my sister's copy of Dagon.

Also, for those even less inclined to read, there have been a number of rather close movie adaptations in recent years.
