To elaborate, I'm a very religious man and I'm a dragger. What I interpreted to be my drag was a conversation with a shadowy figure.

A shadowy figure killed Teddy.

Could Teddy have been the vig? Going off the day kill threat. I know some characters have a on off day-kill sometimes, but how often does that occur?

Their conversation went on through the night.

A no-nonsense man was retiring for the evening having gone about his business earlier in the night. As he lay down to sleep, he was careful to lock each door and tell his staff to be mindful of things that night. No one was safe, not even him. After he had been asleep for several hours, a shadowy figure stepped into the room and plunged a knife into the man’s chest, causing him to choke on blood and die. The shadowy figure then left a list on top of the now deceased cavalryman detailing the grievances against him. ‘Thank goodness the man had been asleep when I killed him’ though the shadowy figure as they left, ‘otherwise there would have been a fight.’

Generally the same description in writeups is reserved for the same character. "No one will miss these people," definitely a killer, doesn't rule out a vig.

But, he's saying he did not target anybody last night. And if you dragged (drug) him, wouldn't you be there in the kill, as well, and not just have a conversation with him into the night?
