They are two distinctly different things. He started a thread under the guise of being a ten year old and made vaguely racists comments to start trouble. I made a joke about what he did (and I'd like to think it was also a shot at the people who were silly enough to defend him). Wait, weren't you one of the people defending him? I'm sorry!

Captain, Stop it! For the love of god! The comment about you defending him was a joke. It was made to get you worked up but not to hold on to it like you are doing. I would think admitting what I did and letting you know it was a joke would be enough. I wasn't calling you a coward but I was saying that I have been in similiar situations in the past and apolgizing isn't always the easiest thing to do. Understand that my saying I don't believe someone isn't me flaming someone. You were quite quick to lump be in with the rude people but I hadn't said anything rude.
