guys, need some help!... do you use pure DC?... or you also use other faction as your support to DC?... i need some tips on what faction to choose that would support my DC army very well... i was thinking ORCS, SOLOS and DRACS... what do you think is the most usefull?... thanks...:D

hey, carlo! i think dracs would be a nice choice to help power up your DC army. their ancient mastery SFA allows them to use any spell from any faction, which means they can also use the nasty explode undead combo. you can also equip them with the book of death spell book which gives them necromancy! hope this helps, man.:D

Incorrect, the Dragon Mystics can only use spells that have an affinity page, Explode Undead doesn't have one.

Also, from a gaming standpoint, a competent DC player would never swap their cheap effective sorcerers (like the Blood Priestesses) for an expensive Dragon Mystic sorcerer in a 300-400 point game. And the DC player doesn't gain anything from fielding an expensive wand-type Drac with Book of Death for Necromancy purposes since the DC have cheaper alternatives for that SA (Grave Robber if 1.0 included) :)

Hi, I'm not sure if this thread is still working or if there are followers (still) but I think it's worth a shot to bring back the heat for the Dark Crusaders/Necropolis Sect!

Any DC/NS players out there? Let's share army builds, winning moments and MK experiences with our beloved faction!

I wouldn't call it the "greatest" army, but I do love running Kossak Dark Bringer wielding a Galeshi Sunsword along side a bunch of *Blood Demons.

Another personal favorite which works great for me is Kroxysmatus wielding Venthia's Mask. Any damage he takes from the mask will be easily repaired thanks to Kroxy's Order of Vladd subfaction.

My favorite 2.0 figure in smaller games is definitely Judge Blacklock. I can't think of too many things which are cooler than a vampiric gunslinger.

My favorite 1.0 unique is the King of the Dead. I know not too many people liked this guy, but I was able to use him fairly well in many high point games. It was a bit more difficult in tournament play, but not impossible (although I will admit, a great many zombies threw away their "un-lives" to keep him in the game).

My all-time fave is Valkerie Tazia! I guess DC was blessed by the most powerful assassin of all time! MB/B, Pierce, low point cost, can do the rodeo tricks... add up karrudan's bow and you have one heck of a shooter!
