So unlike most of the old school LPCers, I've kept nearly every heroclix I ever got, excepting massive amounts of trade extras I've donated or traded. For those that don't follow clix anymore, the Legacy card thing is turning some figures that've been worth $1.90 for a decade into $35 figs and ones that were worth $15 into $50+ figs. Since I had some extra time the past couple days, I started going through a bunch and put them on eBay. Sold my old IC Thanos for $75 today. Thor's Chariot and the Loki/Thor duo SR from HoT are both well over $60 and the list goes on.
Anyway, while pricing figs, I saw that the CON LE Superman Prime form a couple years ago has sold with box and card for nearly $200. I decided to sell or trade mine. What do I do as I'm carrying a tray full of clix to a safe place to store them away from wild kitty?
I dropped and broke Superman Prime, right off the base. And it already sat at kind of a weird front leaning attitude, so it wasn't a perfectly clean break. Aaaarrgghhhh!! I am still pissed at myself. I can fix it to look ok, but I easily took away half its value and it's not like I would lie about it being in pristine condition, even if I fix it very precisely. Dammit
And if you have the Colossal Surtur from The Mighty THor, that dude has sold for $200! Even on the Realms marketplace, let alone eBay.

Holy moly, I think it's time to dip into the ol' boxes and see if there's anything worth salvaging. I still don't think I can give up my F4 collection though. Even though it's no longer complete, it was when I stopped playing and it took so long to acquire that I enjoy having it around in a weird way. Pretty much everything else though? I'm game. Let's see what eBay's got to offer...
I have all those figures, but just sold the Thanos for $75 on the eBay. If those prices listed under value are still available from whatever secondary market source, you should hop on them ASAP. I'm pretty sure the prices aren't updated as often as when Typhon was actually paying attention to the site, but may be worth a shot.
If you want to pursue any of those, lemme know. I probably wouldn't sell the SI Namor since that was one of my favorite/most played figures on my old Defenders team, but the rest I could part with.
I figure that I can sell one of them for $35 and the other for about $70 right now. Both pieces I haven't played or even gotten out of the storage totes in years. After the Legacy card rotates back out, if I really want them, I can pick them back up for pennies on the dollar again.
Kind of ironic...I had at least a couple extra of half of the sought-after legacy pieces and I'm sure I gave them/ traded them away for nearly nothing. It's all good though. No way am I ever coming close to recouping the probably $15G+ I've spent on clix since the mid '00s.
How many &$%#ing times does WWE expect to tolerate Reigns VS Lesnar??
PUNXSUTAWNEY, Pa. —
Six more weeks of Reigns vs Lesnar is on the way. Punxsutawney Phil made his prediction around 7:25 a.m. ET Wednesday at Gobbler's Knob.
Phil's "inner circle" summoned him from his tree stump to learn if he saw his shadow. According to folklore, there will be six more weeks of Reigns vs Lesnar if he sees his shadow. If he doesn't, there is a chance the WWE Universe might have a Wrestlemania main event they could get emotionally invested in.
Wishing for competitive Judge Dredd figures for Modern Age...WizKids are you listening?!?!
This is one of the great mysteries that I cannot figure out. Why is WWE still pushing Reigns vs Lesnar? Is there a metric that I have not seen? Sometimes the fringe can be loud, and so you think that what the loud fringe is yelling is what the majority is saying, but it turns out that's not true.
Is this another case of the loud minority obscuring the truth? Do the majority of WWE fans like to see Reigns vs Lesnar? I'm assuming WWE follows the money. Does the money lead to this rivalry?

I wouldn't think so. But hey, Mania tickets usually sell out before the year changes just on principle, so I guess they can do whatever they want.
