And if your opponent stuns both your 7 and your 6? You will be keeping your 6? Thus making Dr. Strange hardly as effectively. Basically what I am saying is that if you are going to be relying on Dr. Strange as the finisher you need to make sure you can consitently play him. A single Finishing can wreck the entire deck.

If you get to 7, they should not be getting any attacks on you. Maybe 1, under rare circumstances. Nice Try! will take care of Finishing Move-like effects. Put Sentry or Cosmic in the deck just in case.
Getting to 6 now means getting to 7. I don't remember the last time that Nova and Amazing weren't on my board on turn 7. It only happened if I missed 6.

If you played Daredevil and Amazing Spider-Man, and then your opponent was able to stun both your 6 and 7, I don't know how you played those turns :/
I'm thinking, make a safe attack with Daredevil on 6, exhaust what you can to go to turn 7. On turn 7, exhaust what you can with Amazing then make safe attacks. On turn 8, exhaust what you can with Amazing, boost Dr. Strange and attack directly for max breakthrough (him and Amazing alone is 29 points of END already, imagine if you've still got your DD and your 5).
yea that makes sense...so Im guessing you all are running STTG to get Dr. Strange. Ill test it out, but for now im sticking w/ APOC as the big finisher.

CC suggested 4 Mobilizes, and 4 SttGs, I believe it's just a matter of saving your SttGs for later and using up the Mobilizes instead.
As far as recursion is concerned, it's still a natural component of the Spider-Stall build (sorry I don't remember how many recursion effects you're running), but since SttG is not your main searcher, you can live with running fewer recursion effects than before.
BTW, one of your problems with Dr. Strange is that he's not searchable. How's he easier to search than the loyal doctor? I'll test this further though, I should run into more problems (I'm only running 3 SttGs, 2 Indebteds, and 1 Secret Origins in my build, I don't have any copies of the other cards :/)
In what little testing Ive done Ive found that more often than not I want SP on 7 instead of TASM. I just havent had the cards in hand to do much with TASM, as where I can Gift Wrap a good portion of the field with SP. But I also overlooked Empire State.
Usually, when I reach turn 7, I either have enough cards in hand to exhaust at least the opposing 7 and 6, or I can exhaust all but the opposing 7 drop, so I haven't really found the need to have Stark's Protege...
I haven't updated in a while because I'm testing tonight. But I'm switching to 3X Daredevil to get fulfill Dr. Strange's loyalty.
I envision my turn 8 being, respond to Ras and tap as many down as I can. Swing for the fences and hope for the best.

Just wondering since your running with the late Marvel Knights why not go for the complete package? With Midnight Sons comes Wild Ride, which in turn elimnates the Avalon, SS, STTG combo. You then also get Swan Dive. Also you get the 6 drop Spidey, you have Blade, and even Panther to fulfill the requirement for MS.
I myself like the Doom package. MP, RoT, Dr. Doom 3 and 4, Kristoff on 5, Boris. Along with this package, you get Cover Fire, since all but 1 to 3 drops from 1-8 have range. Black Cat will be your two, 5 depending on if you play White Tiger or Kristoff and if you drop TASM or SP on 7. I think that the 8 drop Dr. Doom LM is a finisher the deck is looking for, but you can also run clone Saga to splash whoever you would like.
I also like Stark's Protege at 7 for reasons previously mentioned, but I am running both TASM and SP for various reasons. Empire State helps but if you dont hit it and have been abusing your Blade Powers like I usually do, SP is definately the way to go. And his range and flight are great pluses, but I dont want to get into that again. I also like teaming up Spider-Man with doom

Sorry I haven't been posting, Im in sunny Daytona Beach FL, enjoying a week's worth of vaca.
MadHatter...just because we aren't talking current modern doesnt mean you cant bring it up...feel free to ask about any age, teamup, etc...this is one of the few places in the realms where we'll all help answer your question. So as long as it's Spider-centric feel free to ask away.
What are your opinions on a SF/HoG deck? Seeing as they both stall through exhaustion and bounce it might be interesting to see if it can stall all the way to turn 9 for Galactus.
