Um, if we are talking pure efficiency, and not DQing pure chese. I would say Firelord packs the most bang for the buck. Even though we have 4 damage ranged attackers under 100 points now, they still don't have the AV, 5 potential damage, more with perplex, and sweetness first clicks that the big cheese has.

I've always been a big fan of v. Shi from Indy. For 47 points, you get 8 range, stealth, senses, bcf, 11 attack and 3 damage. The Crusade ta is just a bonus too with all that.

i think V gambit is a great piece for the points, V sabretooth is a beast! V Black Widow is also very good for the points but there is this one fig that i just luv and find him incredibly useful, some of you may disagree but i love him anyway but V Pyro, for only 42 pts you get a free movin swiss army knife. His barrier helps defensivly, his rce helps offensivly and his 2 arrow enegy explosion rules. before the indy rules he was even better when he could barrier for free and then hit for 3 clicks! indy offers alot of efficient figs too the best of indy would have to be sammy rey

R Con Artists seem to work for perplex

Quick Silver, although not legal now, is a good piece to tie a figure up. With 12 speed and energy shield. The rookie is very useful.

Ultimate Hawkeye is good since he has 8 ranged with three lightning bolts and has 11 atk and ranged combat expert on his first click.

I think U Moondragon is just the bomb. TK, SS and Mind Control ALL for just 71 points! She is always a player on any team I build. U Deathbird is also a cheap favorite. RCE, Running Shot, B/C/E for 70 points. Outstanding!

Especially when whe carries Psylocke around. Of course, i'm especially attached to my Deathbird 'cause my wife got it for me for Valentine's Day. 8o)

By efficient I think of figs that arent back loaded with good - expensive powers and ridiculously low att values. For example (r) Chameleon has 2 awesome starter clicks and no wasted points. But his last 2, blades 6 att and incap 5 att are a waste for his role in my opinion. I love him but I dont feel hes terribly efficient.
As for efficient Id say IC (u) Elektra, (e) Moonknight, (r) Braniaic 5, Ult Thor, any Firelord for sure, (u) Sauron, (e) Logan, LE Avalanche, Jane Foster... the list is endless
