i didnt mind indy but i have heard there done with it and there will be now more sets. Thats just a strong rumor i have heard though. Hey but maybe we will get crossgen clixs!!!
I suspect that we will see a DC set early next year, probably to coincide with the Batman movie. Everything for this year has been scheduled, so no DC in 04.
I also had heard that there is no plans for Indy in 2005. Color me dissapointed.
Personally I have no prob with multiple poses of the same characters.
Hercules needs to be redone. (toughness HA)
so do many others from the first set.
I Love the Ultimate versions. More Cyclops, Wolverine, Captain America, no problem.
They won't run out.
Just don't try to get me to buy a set of Willie Lumpkin and a bunch of fourth tier little known characters. Watch how fast this game sinks when you try that.
Crossgen may be gone, but there is Image, Top Cow, and a number of smaller presses. Additionally, DC might consider allowing Vertigo figures to be incorporated in an Indy set. Constantine might be a cool fig to have.
HOWEVER, they would all pale compared to the sales of a Cartoon Network set. All those little kids would kill to play with Ed, Edd, & Eddie, Codename: KIDS, Powerpuff Girls, Dexter, etc. And think how many faces it would bring into the comic shops to play tournies with those pieces!! I can't believe that CN and WK are continuing to miss out on a marketing bonanza.

and for us older types, who wouldn't jump at the chance to play Space Ghost or the Aqua Teens?

I think they called that one "Unleashed"
I'm kidding (sort of). Just look at my user name for God's sake! But really, after Doc Fate and Hal (along with Barry my three favs in all of DC) Unleashed was a pretty weak set. I was disappointed in a lot of the character choices.
Then again, a lot of people probably don't give a rat's behind about some of the chars I would like to see.

Actually, I think Unleashed was better than Cosmic Justice. We got a lot of great characters:
Hawkgirl
Scarecrow
Two-Face
Killer Croc
Batgirl (Awesome sculpt)
Cyborg
Shade (so glad he was put in at the last minute)
Raven
Doctor Fate
Maxima
Supergirl (Awful sculpt)
Green Lantern
Shazam!
And of course, the first Giant figure!
