Dr. Strange sees them and conjures again.

Yet the first arrow is upon him just as he finishes the spell and the impact sends the mage to the ground-hard.

One of the arrows returns to Hawkeye and makes its presence known as it hits him square in the rear end.

"Yeoooooowwwwww!!!" he cries out in pain.

"Baby," the Widow proclaims.

I fear you forgot to add in the hindering terrain bonus. Strange is chillin' on one of the objects I placed. Normally Ult Hawkeye could ignore it, but we're only giving one member of the team the TA, and that'd be Thor for now. So Hawk would really have needed a 9 to hit.

Beast Perplexes up the Surfer's damage to 5.

Surfer will attack Thor, AV9 on DV15, needs a 6. Gets the 6 and Thor will take 3 more after Invulnerabililty.

"I am fine," Dr. Strange replied. "I put my shield up just in time to prevent any real damage, though I was still thrown off balance by the impact."

"I am truly glad to hear you are well, Doctor," the Surfer said, "but that was too close. We must neutralize these Ultimates before they do any real harm."

With that, he fired off another blast at Thor. This time the Ultimate was beginning to show some effects from it.

Argh...true I forgot. Too bad, that was my second Hawkeye guffaw with the Doc. We should put hindering or stealthed next to the character recaps, it's easy to forget objects.

Oh wow this sucks, you've got Thor on his worst click.

OK Widow attacks Beast. Needs 7, rolls 8. Beast gets 2 after toughness.

Thor goes for Surfer. Needs 7, rolls 7. 1 to Surfer after invulnerability.

Natasha cocks his taser and makes a perfect hit on the Beast from out of nowhere.

The charge leaves Beast on the ground reeling, "Who was that???"

"The woman, Beast," Surfer says, " the Black Widow used stealth as her ultimate weapon. We will attend to her, after we finish this 'Thunder God.""

Almost on cue lightning hits the Surfer's board. The attack barely singes the former Galactus herald.

"If this is the best these "Ultimates' can do, then our match will be ending quite soon," Norrid Radd confidently says.

Darn, coulda used Beast's Perplex.

Doc will attack Thor. AV10 on DV14, needs 4. Gets a 7. 3 more to Thor after his Toughness. Puts him on his last click. Gotta try to finish him.

Surfer will push to hit Thor, AV9 on DV12. No snake eyes, no snake eyes...Gets 6. Thor takes 2 after Toughness and he's KOd! First time in all these games I managed to do that.

The Silver Surfer just nodded his acquiescence. Thor was struck by twin beam of energy, mystical and cosmic. Bombarded by such power, not even he could withstand it.

"Nice work, guys," the Beast cheered them on. "Now I have to go find out who took that potshot at me!"

Wow. That just about does it in all likelihood. I knew it would come down to Thor vs. Surfer and first hit is an incredible advantage but kudos to you, you played that well.

The Widow and Hawkeye witness the demoralizing defeat of their powerhouse, Thor.

The Silver Surfer speaks out to them, "Your demigod has fallen, Ultimates, but you can still use this chance to surrender. I will give you one last opportunity."

"You'll regret that, pal, " Hawkeye whispers, "The Ultimates don't surrender." Arrows fly and flip the Surfer off of his board.

The Surfer, already weak overreacts to get his board back, he is unaware of the boulders above on his side and Hawkeye's arrow lodged into. With precision they excplode and topple the Defender's giant, knocking him out.

"Smooth play, Hawkeye!" the Widow comlinks to him.

"Wow! Impressed even myself, and that tkaes some doing," he laughed.

Hope you don't mind my fixing your summary. Just want to be clear on your guys' status. With both Thor and the Surfer down, we're both on a nearly even keel again. So Widow can't do anythin next turn, and Hawkeye would have to push to attack Strange, needing a big roll. I guess it's safe to clear. Widow's low roll on the Beast was a real luck break for me.
