Booster attacks Oc. Needs 8, rolls 8.

Dr. Octopus comes charging at Booster, swearing and using idle threats.

Booster waves to the crowds, throws kisses, poses for the gay photographer from "Super Muscle" magazine with a confident non-chalance and finds time to throw off a quick force blast at Dr. Octopus sending him backwards into the rink.

Signing an autograph for the photgrapher. Tammy chimes in on the loudspeaker again, "Oh another strike for Boober. What a man, what a man, what a mighty good man."

"That's the rumor," the gay photgrapher says and winks at him.

"Not just a rumor," Booster adds, "And it's Booster, Booster, can we get that fixed?".

That'd push Booster, so I'll allow Doc Ock to clear. Your next turn Booster has no choice but to do the same, so skipping ahead, Ock's next move will be to attack again. Big surprise. AV8 on DV15 this time. He needs 7 again. Gets the 7, so Booster takes 2 -1 for Toughness. 1 point total.

"Don't ignore me!" the enraged Octopus shrieked and swung his arms at Booster. Booster's force field managed to deflect most of them, but one did get in a glancing blow to the hero's head, mainly mussing his hair.

"Hey! Watch it!" Gold yelled back, frantically trying to get his hair back into place. "There are photographers here!"

Hmmmm...I figured there would be no need for willpower in this case since a figure would have to move each turn. More proof that I didn't really think this through.

Anyhoo--Booster needs an 8 to attack, rolls a 5.

Booster smiles to his fans and casually drops off another force blast unto the frustrated Doctor. This time it hits the space next to him and sends the angry villian within closer range.

"Oopsie," says Booster.

"Oopsie indeed, Boober," the villian says.

"Stand still, blast you!" Octopus ranted as he tried to hit the swooping hero.

"And let you hit me?" Booster replied. "That hardly seems to be in my best interest."

"Fly around all you want then. You can't avoid all my arms forever!" As if to illustrate his point, another tentacle connected with Booster's gut.

"Oh, man," he said, "I hope thay didn't catch that on camera."

Booster tries again. Needs 8, rolls 4. Darn it, Booster should win this one just cause he's so cool.

Booster smiles big for the camera.

"Ready for me to do it again?" he says lifting his hand towards Octopus.

The crowd goes wild, screams, "Yeah!".

"OK here goes," he says but nothing happens. "Uh oh, the suits malfunctioning," he says unfortunately loud enough to be overheard through his microphone.

Dr. Octopus smiles greedily.

"Oh fudge," says Booster.

I'll pass again.

As long as Booster's got Toughness, he's got a good chance. All he needs is one more decent roll.

I'll pass too. Probably should push but I won't risk the toughness.
