But it does cost something: the points you've paid for the power on the dial. It's also significantly less effective as a power since it doesn't cost the target a token anymore; the combination of a mind control action AND an effective incapacitate attack was under-costed. But I'm not sure why it would cause any more fatigue than pummeling a brick with Close Combat Expert.
Acutally, the truth is in _here_.
I just can't remember which pile it's in.
wait. let me get this straight. you don't get pushed when you are mind controlled and have a token already? then how do you assign 1 click of damage for each 100 points of the character? and i thought you got damage for the controlled, and the character the controlled attacks. it says combined damage in the rules???

The character MCed does not get a token so it is not pushed. This is because the action assigned to the MCed character by MC is a free action.
Now if the MCer has a token they will get a second token from MCing (it is a power action to use MC) and it will push.

That is completely unrelated to pushing or tokens.
That is an additional cost to using MC where the MCer takes damage based on the point value of the characters it MCs.
For example, a MCer MCs a character worth 100 points. The MCer has no tokens. The MCed character has one token. The MCed character is assigned a ranged combat action as the MC free action and attacks a 200 point character. It deals 3 damage for this example. The MC now completes and the MCer is assigned a token and also takes 1 click of damage for MCing a 100 point character. It doesn't take any pushing damage since it only has one token on it. The MCed character does not get a token or take any damage from being MCed.

Nope.
Combined means if you MC more than 1 character you combine the point totals of all the characters you MCed.
So you MC a 50 point character and a 190 point character. The MCer takes 2 clicks of damage.
