"Well Titans," a resigned Cyborg begins, "We need to do something."
"Music to my ears," says Starfire who grabs Arsenal by the back of his neck and flies atop of the nearby building. She launches a full out starbolt attack on the Flash. The regular Flash would likely avoid this hit but this Flash is especially adept.
Starfire curses in frustration.
Cyborg lowers his head, "This is so not a good start."
For what it's worth, there's a square of blocking terrain that would have prevented Raven from PCing Starfire's roll anyway.
Okay. Here goes. Flash Outwits Starfire's Toughness, then goes HSS to Q6, attacks Starfire. AV12 on DV15. Gets a 3, which hits regardless. Starfire takes 2. Flash ends in O3
Green Lantern targets the still as yet unactivated Hawk with RCE. Unsporting, I know, but you left him there and he can be pretty nasty so... AV12 on DV11. Needs a negative 1. Gets 8. Hawk takes 6.
Hawkman Running Shot to N5, tries to finish Hawk. AV12 on DV10. Needs negative 2. Gets 7, Hawk's done.
"Flash, can you take care of Starfire?" Green Lantern asked. Actually he only got as far as "can you take care of St..." before Flash had actually already hit her and retreated back to the street.
"Yes, well, very good," Green Lantern said. "Hawk," he continued, turning his attention to the other Titans. "Not exactly Superman, but he was a pretty good fighter if I remember. Probably wise to neutralize him." Nothing showy, no flashy constructs, just a devastaing blast of emerald force that left Hawk barely on his feet.
"Let me finish that for you," Hawkman offered and swooped down off the building, firing a bow at the badly wounded Hawk. It was more than enough to take him out of the fight.
"Hawk!" cries Dove, enraged as she rushes to the fallen hero.
"This is no good, we've got the numbers but they're skill is unreal," Cyborg acknowledges.
An angered Starfire reacts immediately trying to take out the Flash, "Stay still blast you, this will only hurt a little."
"It's no good, Starfire," Superboy says specifically referring to her ill-fated assault on the Flash. But he's also recognizing an obvious fact, the Titans are severely underclassed. They'd have to fight, and think, hard to succeed in this battle.
Starfire and Arsenal can't attack Flash and Hawkman on the ground from where they are. Since they're not at the edge of the roof, they can't draw LoF to figures on the ground. However, both have Running Shot, so we can assume that they moved up to row Q in order to make their attacks. I'll let you give them new positions on your next turn and move on myself.
Green Lantern uses Willpower to push, Running Shot up to I8 in hindering, and targets Superboy. AV12 on DV17. Needs 5. And in a lucky break for you, he rolls a 2. Darnit. Now his DV is only 19 (20 with the hindering)
Green Lantern saw Superboy fly up to the roof. "Anyone with that S on his chest is going to be tough," he thought. He flew up a bit closer and aimed a power beam at Superboy. Conner braced for it. It struck him and he stood his ground. Green Lantern furrowed his brow and put more power into it. Superboy gritted his teeth and took it. Finally GL stopped. Superboy still stood unharmed. "Phew," he thought, "I was more right than I thought. That kid IS tough. I think that took more out of me than it did him."
"Cool," Superboy thought. "I stood up to Green Lantern!"
Wow, Lantern's dv is only 19 (20 w/hindering), gee now I have a real chance. LOL.
Simple move here, Raven to S5. I'd push Superboy or Arsenal but can't afford the unlikelihood of their getting the big numbers i need to conquer your guys.
Q9 E Cyborg 54
S5@ E Raven 65
Q5 (3) V Starfire 88
Q6 E Arsenal 44
R8 V Superboy 127
R7 (1) V Dove 69
Yeah. It's one thing to push when you need a 5 or better to hit. It's another thing to push when you need an 8 or 9.
Flash to Q4, attacks Starfire. AV12 on DV14, needs anything but snake eyes. Gets 8. For the heck of it, we'll give Raven a reroll. Still gets 8. Starfire takes 2. Flash ends in R16
Hawkman attacks Arsenal. AV12 on DV15. Needs 3. Gets 7. Arsenal takes 3.
Starfire felt the pain in her jaw almost before her optic nerves transmitted the red blur to her brain. Long before she could react, the Flash was long gone again.
"These kids mean well, but they don't know what they're up against," Hawkman said, firing his own bow at the archer on the roof.
"Gah!" Arsenal yelped as he took the arrow in the shoulder. "Me. Hit by an arrow. Oh, the indignity!"
"Hawkman is the best target, Titans," Cyborg says trying to rally his team, "Let's make use of it."
He lifts his synthetic arm and releases an electric charge upon Hawkman. Just as the charge hits Hawkman turns, rolling with some of the attack.
Raven looks up, "Starfire! Arsenal! While Hawkman is distracted, strike!". In that moment Starfire and Arsenal open up on Hawkman. Hawkman gets pounded with a starbolt although Arsenal's arrow attack just misses.
"####! I wanted a piece of wings!" he says.
Hawkman looks at him, "Son, you'll have plenty of chance to try again. But not before I do."
"Hold on there," Green Lantern said, "two against one's hardly fair, even if that one is Hawkman. Up to me to even the odds, I guess," he decided. He created a giant green cannon which fired a huge cannonball the struck Superboy in the chest, knocking the wind out of him. He did recover enough to avoid Hawkman's follow-up attack though.
