AAhh I see what you mean. We are talking about 2 different situations. Juggernaut has never been an Exile fromt he comic book "Exiles" that stars Blink and Mimic etc. And the post about him at Whoclicks references his latest battle with Black Tom where he was sent to Mojo World which was in the most recent issues of Uncanny X-Men.
And BTW, how about you get YOUR facts straight before you tell me mine are wrong.
I don't want this thread to spiral into a flame war, so I'll keep it simple. I was not wrong in anything I said regarding Juggernaut. My facts were straight.
The Whoclix entry (which I've only now read--since my post earlier was based solely at what you said) certainly implies the current Exiles, but that makes my statements no less less true, or yours any less incorrect.
I have been corrected that Black Knight was a member of Ultraforce (not Exiles), but my statement is still true--I believed he was.
Boneyard does not routinely post rants about how designers make dials without knowing the characters--so I find it more than a little ironic that you post completely incorrect info with authority, and are surprised when you're called on it.
This will likely be my last post on the matter in this thread, since it is off-topic. If you really want to continue this DC, by all means send me a PM. I don't guarantee I'll respond, though.
I have been corrected that Black Knight was a member of Ultraforce (not Exiles), but my statement is still true--I believed he was.
Are you serious? With that logic, then Dark Crisis wasn't in the wrong either because he "believed" he was right.
"Think of it, Batman. To never again walk on a summer's day with a hot wind in your face and a warm hand to hold. Oh yes, I'd KILL for that." Mister Freeze
_____
"You may think I am evil. I am not. I am efficient." Darth Maul
BTW I believe I'm really Superman so it must be true.
Uh his logic is fine...
If you really believed you were superman then the statement "I believe I am superman." would be true.
Therefore if he stated "I believe so in so was so in so" and they werent...that statement was still true because he did really believe it....That doesn't change the fact that what he believed was wrong and he isn't trying to say it is...what he is saying is that his statement wasn't false....he never stated his belief wasn't false.
Heroclix 5th Anniversary: Expect Nothing...you won't be as disappointed that way.
as if there were still need to prove that the "ultimate" versions of Marvel chacters suck, I give you the synopsis of the Ultimate doom from Whoclix:

His hands turned to deadly claws and his legs into goat-like hooves. His strange powers have not been fully cataloged but include regenerating almost any damage, throwing metal quills grown from his own body, breathe poison gas and create swarms of tiny mechanic stinging insects. He is also master of the "Free Zone" - a shanty town whose squatters are loyal to Doom by means of a mind-controlling tattoo.
even I would never have thought they'd mess up Doom so much. Victor Von Damme?! and he rules the trendy N-Zone with his mind control tatoos? A direct decendant of Vlad Tepes? Have the guys who wrote this ever read comics? cause they same to have his origin all screwed up (the MARVEL writers, not YOU Boneyard!) I mean we're talking Dr Doom here. Boy the movie is gonna suck. It looked like it was ganna suck, don't get me wrong. but I hadn't checked to see how bad they had screwed up the Ultimate FF. Here's a clue.
BTW I believe I'm really Superman so it must be true.
LOL. I should have been more clear.
What I meant was, I specifically wrote "As was Black Knight, I believe." because I was positive Juggernaut had been an Exile, but was not positive on Black Knight.
I used the "I believe" statement to show the differences between what I was sure of (Juggernaut), and what I was guessing at (Black Knight). My fault that wasn't clear....
Hopefully I'm clear now, 'cause interpreted the way it seems everyone has, what I wrote would be retarded.
Marvel did buy out Malibu Comics, especially for the Ultraverse characters (most of whom I enjoyed immensely) and Malibu did have a title called 'Exiles'. The second incarnation of which DID star Juggernaut.
So... facts are facts. Two teams exist using the same name. The argument is all semantics.
And I'm always up for s'm antics (ba dump bump! Thank you, ladies and germs, I'll be here all week! Remember to tip your waitresses!)
Seriously. There WAS a team called Exiles (damn near, what ten years ago, almost) and Cain Marko aka Juggernaut was a member.
Critical Hit Quake that knocks the target into the edge of the map?
When Warlock integrated Doug Ramsey, the new character was called Douglock, not Cypher. Cypher was Doug's code-name while he was alive in the New Mutants. Just something I noticed. Great resource for those who don't already know the characters Boneyard!
