I love the 1 unique per 3 boosters. Sounds somewhat similar to some other game though....
So I have to ask before someone else I know does....
"How collectible can they be if they are so easy to get?"
I've never been a big fan of "Support Your Local Game Store" in some respects. I will do all I can to support them with comic purchases and sealed games...but I feel "Support Your Local Game Store" comes only after the Game Store "Supports Their Local Players." Unfortunately...the latter isn't always true. I'm sure there are those that disagree with me...so I'll just have to agree to disagree now.
Nevertheless...it's good to see WK do what they can to support the little guy.
The new maps are awesome! I've waited a long time for maps. It's a shame this announcement comes when I got out of the game. I may pick up Armor Wars though.
I like collecting Heroclix. I will continue to buy clix by the case, intercepting retailers so I can gain a better price. I will continue to sell extras I don't need, or trade them for what I do.
Free LEs, "clix bricks", and cheaper uniques will not stop this happening. Marvel and DC fans are insane, and will overrun the cases and booster sales, lowering the chances that new players will actually see boosters in stores, and that retailers will be able to purchase and display them.
ok so i order a case from a store... does my receipt for the case count as the receipt for the clix brick?
or do i have to hope that i can actually buy a brick from a store that gets delayed or cancelled shipments, due to incredibly scaled back production on new sets?
Armor Wars -- well , that must virtually GUARANTEE Iron Man in the Silver Centurion Armor and Titanium Man ( both in the comic series ) , Beetle and Stilt-Man , and perhaps a better 'classic' Iron Man figure ?
