Apparently MC revitalizes you!

I played in a game where my friend took several turns (4) getting Wonder Woman into position to attack, never pushing her

I then used one Mind Controller to MC her into a charge and putting her into range of my other MC character

She did more damage in that turn than she would do for the rest of the game

I preferred the old MC

for a few extra points include Professor X!
X MC's Karma 1, Karma 2 and Thor (Thor attacks): Karma 1 MC's Karma 2 and Thor (Thor attacks). Karma 2now MC's professor X and Thor (Thor attacks)

Okay, I have it now. I am making the assumption that you cannnot MC the MC'er who MC'd you

PX = Professor X
K1 = Karma 1
K2 = Karma 2 (or a mountain)
Th = Thor

PX MC's K1, K2, Thor
K1 MC's K2 and Thor, he attacks
K2 MC's Thor, he attacks
K2 MC's K1 and Thor, he attacks
K1 MC's Thor, he attacks

5 attacks from Thor, one action! (so PX took 2 clicks, each Karma took 4 (I think)

K1 has her turn. She MC's K2 and Thor, he attacks
K2 MC's PX and Thor, he attacks
PX MC's Thor, he attacks
K2 goes. She MC's K1 and Prof X
K1 and PX both MC Th, he attacks. TWICE

Thor's turn (400 points = 4 actions), he attacks

Grand Total: Thor attacks 11 times!

So that, Kiddies, is why we don't allow you to MC your own team!

Sometimes the judge has to put his foot down and state very clearly you cannot do this when players keep saying "yes I can" over, and over, and over.
After the judge has very clearly made his ruling.
The judge was also running a tournament with a whopping 20 people at a brand new venue, and was in the middle of something else.
Once he had given his official ruling, he assumed that the question had been answered (again), and attempted to resume setting up the pairings for the second round.

Also, you admit this was your first tournament, but gave absolutely no credit to the judge who has been running and judging tournaments for years. Nor would you give him and his experience the benefit of the doubt.

Sometimes the judge is "stubborn" because he is right.

That "jerk" judge also gave out 4 additional prizes out of his own pocket.



The judge will also stop referring to himself in the second person now.

That's the third person you're talking in, chum. Second-person is to refer to someone as a you (or y'all for plural second person). Referring to yourself in the second person is pretty much impossible to understand.

I give credit to get thinking to whoever came up with this one.
I understand the reasoning,but things should be clear.
Same nonsense as Flash/ Northstar "Free" HHS attack- you shouldn't be able to do it,yet someone came up with it and then it was ruled ok.

I just wish they didn't nerf'd the power of mind control, now no token and with the rise in point coast it's just too costly.

Maybe next time a judge can be more understanding and actually give a definate (or even reasonable) answer as to why you CAN'T do something. I mean, none of us were there, so it's hard for me to judge how anyone reacted or acted, but seeing as how their stories coincide, I'm guessing that Azs came off as a little irritated, and for a new guy, that can be kinda demeaning. However, if that's how he is going to talk to his judge, who's to say it wasn't warranted? Did they in fact bring up this rules tidbit in an assinine manner? Cuz I'd probably snap after 2 or 3 times too, especially when I'm trying to keep 20 people from getting bored waiting.

And the comment about the magical pockets was pretty ####ing rude, pardon my french. Your judge is hopsitable and generous, spending his own money to see some kids have fun while he watches, and your response is a sarcastic clapping and telling him to be nice? Who the hell do you think you are?
