Where is the Joker-esque dial ? Why *must* he be given SE team ... he doesn't out smart or outwit anybody or anything - he just beats on stuff / people.
I dont kow a huge amount about bizarro but I would think that perplex would be a feature of his dial. I mean the guy is backwards, hello = goodbye etc I think that would be slightly confusing...
I was tempted to do this post in Bizarro-speech, but seriously, I'm not that good....
Okay, he's pretty powerful, but still serverly lacking in a lot of respects (though frankly, I think the very existance of figures like Ultimate Thor has spoiled us a bit). Stupid overcosted near-useless Superman Enemy TA... well, at least they didn't make him IL, that's about the only thing that's worse. Still, the V version is good enough for my tastes, the least overcosted of the bunch. I like the character of Bizarro, so I'll try to get the V and play him at some point...if I can find a large enough point game....
177 points for a 9 attack?!?!? Does that strike anyone else as being sort of insane? I mean, I know that Anti-Supes is pricey, but that's just nuts.
dissapointing yes, insane no 9 is respectable, and he holds 9's and 8's thru most of the dial, granted for 177 points he could have been better but he never drops below a 7 attack and has pretty good damage! (trying to look on the bright side.)
My personal rule of thumb is never pay over 100 points for less than a 10 attack, but thats just me. Some people prefer higher damage, but with the escalating defense numbers these days I want a higher attack.
I should point out that I actually like the I-Hate-Superman TA and play it often (with a lot of wild cards, I'll grant you). Yeah, its waaaaaaaay overpriced, but unlike IL its actually playable.
I'm completely in agreeance with everyone who wanted Perplex on Bizzaro. Not a lot, just a dab here and there to make him a little more fun.
I also agree that he should've had a non-standard dial, but instead of a crazy mixed bag of Skittles like Legacy Joker I'd have liked a dial that ran in reverse, with the weak numbers up front and the good ones in back. On top of that, "mirroring" the power distribution (i.e. having Charge on the first few and last few clicks, starting and ending with Impervious with dabs of Invulnerability and Toughness between) instead of loading them heavy on either end would make him a bit less predictable while at least adhering to a pattern enough so that you know you're going to have a chance to use what you want on him.
Its only the fourth set for DC right? then why is it that every figure in this set is a remake of a previously made character? will there be ANY new characters in this set?

Not really, a base set that is supposed to reprint a lot of characters wouldn't be much without remakes.
I feel completely spoiled that we've got him in clix form not once...but twice! And the new version is infinitely more playable, and he even has the necklace!
That said...
I really, Really, REALLY wish they'd made him more...quirky. As he stands, he's pretty much a run-of-the-mill bruiser.
Bizarro #1 breathes fire, freezes foes solid with his vision, and confuses everyone with his backwards grammar and loopy thinking.
I would have made him equal to Superman in some ways--HSS, same Range, etc--but also given him some panache. The Force Blast is great, but some Incap would have been sublime. And Perplex just goes without saying.
