Actually Mxplytck..... (ehh close enough) gave Luthor some post Crisis Red K many years ago. It took away all Superman's powers and he had to fight in armor. Crisis of the Crimson Kryptonite, I believe was the title.

In Smallville, Black K seems to Spit a person into his two parts. Good & Evil. Doesn't even affect only Kryptonians, It did it to Lex once too. Since Loeb is involved with the show, I expect it to have similiar results.
