Moon Knight can't get to N16 from there. N16 is at the top of the staircase while the bottom is at M16. He'd have to come closer to me & then double-back to get there, which he can't do in 10 spaces. You need to make a correction to the map on your homepage. You've got the top & bottom of the stairs mixed up.

Incidentally, I can't tell which is the top & which is the bottom of the stairs as far as the other small bldg is concerned. According to the "real" map, W2 is bottom & V2 is top.

Right...I just checked the original map, and it looks like you're right about those stairs- talk about some mis-leading artwork though. I'm an artist myself, and it's a pretty basic convention that darker means further away, but upon looking closer just now I can see that there's actually a thick black line indicating that the top, lighter coloured part is the grounded part of the stairs. Ironically, the black line on the other stairs has it the OTHER way around, so it looks like whoever drew it either intended for one of them to be around the other way, or else just had no real clues.

So the stairs on the bottom building are correct, but the ones on the other are around the wrong way. I'll get to fixing it sometime.

As for fixing Moon Knight's position....I guess I'll put him in N5 instead.

It hasn't come up in our game yet, but I just read in a Hair10 FAQ thread that when a TA is being wildcarded, it continues to be wildcarded even after the figure w/ the actual TA has been KO'd. That is, unless the wildcard chooses to start copying another TA. Just thought I'd mention it since I could see it becoming factor here - must be an Icons change.

I read that too, but I think you misunderstand what it means. I'm pretty sure he means that when you KO a Msytic or a F4 character, the effect of their TA still carries through even though they've been KOed that turn. (So if you've only got one F4 character with Wildcards copying, and the Alicia pog is KOed, the others still get the click of healing even though they no longer have a F4 team member present to copy from).

I'll admit that his wording is a bit clunky on that one though. If it is the way you think it is, then I'm totally screwed, and wildcard teams will be totally broken from now on.

Hmmm...looked at the question again, and it does sound the way you think. But then as thespiderfly pointed out in that thread, the rulebook says the following:

Section 1, Q035:
According to the Rulebook, p. 15, "Wild card team abilities are special team abilities that allow a character to use any team ability possessed by any friendly character on the battlefield." If a character is KOd, it is no longer on the battlefield and thus the WC can't mimic the TA.

I'd like to think that we'd follow the rulebook over this semi-official bunch of questions which don't seem to be finalised yet.

I just reread it and I suppose you're right (which is a good thing). I was kind of shocked when I read it the 1st time, wondering how I had never heard of something to major.

Unfortunately (due to licensing restrictions, figure retirement & an effort to write rules for those who are not familiar with the figures yet, I suppose) WK never use figures & rarely cite examples when trying to clarify a rule. That would make things soo much clearer.

...so if you nail Darkoth I am fine w/ relinquishing Arachnos.

BTW, Dr Doom will be Masterminding any damage towards Darkoth (as long as he has Impervious), then Titania (as long as she has Invulnerability) & then the grounded Doombots (the runty one, 1st). You can change this order whenever the Mastermind fodder has NO damage reducing abilities & another figure is available that could absorb ALL of it. whew!

Also, do you know how the grey line on this map is supposed to be treated? Is it a fence like the one on the Construction Site map (hindering for movement but not for LOF)? I've actually played it both as a fence, as hindering, and as nothing, so I'm really not sure anymore. It would be helpful to know before finalising my move.

According to the map FAQ it's nothing.
