Since we established that flyers still don't have to stop when they come adjacent to opposing characters, Black Knight will push to carry Tigra, charge to M4,N4, and attack Hrungnir with his EW, placing Tigra in L4 (stealthed). 9 on a 16. Roll is (4,5). Phew. Good start to what I hope will be a nice victory. 3 to Hrungnir thanks to the Knight's EW. 1 to the Knight but well worth it I think.

The rest will clear.

As Cap discussed the plan the Black Knight heard the thundering footsteps of Hrungnir. He turned to Tigra. "Looks like someone has to play David. Care to join me?"

"Lead on. I'm eager to test my claws on a giant." Tigra purred as they flew forward before Cap could stop them."

"Impulsive kids." Cap thought to himself. "Well that changes things... let's wait a minute and see if the Knight's charge will help."

Captain America's skepticism proved unnecessary though as Dane's ebony blade cut deep into the giant's flesh.

Captain Americ'as voice rang out, "She-Hulk! Now!"

She-Hulk threw the rock she'd picked up straight at the Giant's forehead. "Hey Big Guy! Have some rock stew!"

Hrungnir turned just in time for the boulder to strike his nose with enough force to send him hurtling to the ground, shaking the Earth (Asgard?) around him for miles as he fell.

"Not bad. " She-Hulk congratulated herself. "And it was a decent enemy too. I was so afraid DKnight was gonna stick me with something lame in my Avengers debut. Like moloids. or Lava Men."

"Hey!" Hawkeye shouted. "We just fought lava men. They weren't so easy."

"Says the Gay Pride version of Robin Hood." She-Hulk replied.

"When this is over lady...." Hawkeye muttered.

Hawkeye was interrupted by Cap's voice once more. "Black Knight! Tigra! Go for the Sorcerer.

Just after the ground stopped shaking the Black Knight rode forward, his ebony blade striking right through the hastily cast protective ward of Malekith. As the sorceror slumped to the ground, the Knight continued on, keeping out of Loki's sight by hiding behind the villian's own allies.

As this was going on, Thor let into Ulik with a thunderous yell, "Villians! Thor has beaten you all before and Thor shall do so again! Let one, a hundred, a thousand come, Thor shall beat them all!" He screamed as Mjolnir swung through the air at Ulik.

"Thor, thou doth talk to much." Loki said simply and cast a spell to momentarily bind Thor's arm.

The moment was all Ulik needed and with Two massive hands he slammed the surprised Thunder God to the ground in a mighty crash echoing Hhrungnir's fall. When the dust cleared a triumphant Ulik stood over the unconscious thunder god.

Loki's laugh rang out across the plain. He had finally done it. He had finally beaten Thor. Now all he had to do was beat these mortals, an easy task. Loki's laughter continued as he urged his allies forward once more.

1. She-Hulk will push to throw her HO at Hrungnir. DM and I learned back in my issue 2 that when 2 spaces apart standard characters can still make ranged combat attacks against a Giant Char. And since he's Giant, Shulkie can see over Black Knight to target him. 9 on a 13 (14? not sure if the hindering terrain matters). Rolls (1,4). Doesn't matter either way. Loki has no line of sight so no PC. HOs do 3 when thrown so Hrungnir takes 2 after his toughness and the giant falls. 1 to She-Hulk for the push.

2. With the giant no longer adjacent to him, Black Knight is free to make a transporter attack. He will pick up Tigra, fly up to (I3,I2) and attack Malekith. 9 (-2) for 7 on a 13. 6 or better. Roll is (3,4). Loki can't see so can't PC. Hits Malekith for 3 and a KO. The Knight will continue on and end in (H1,I1), placing Tigra in G1.

3. I want Thor out of the way for move 4 and rather than risk Breakaway I'll go for the glory. Thor will push and use haymaker to attack Ulik. 7 -1 for a 6 on an 11. Roll is (6,5) A hit! I'm assuming Loki will PC that though. Reroll is (3,1). So close. Great for rp though. Thor takes 2, 1 from the push and 1 from haymaker. KOs Thor. Guess I'll have to use him in training for that last 3 IAP he needs to level up.

4. Black Panther will move to K15.

Tigra growled with Fury as the Knight tumbled from his horse. Tigra lept right at Lorelai then suddenly vaulted over her to attack a surprised Enchantress with her claws. "You're next." She growled to Lorelai.

Leadership roll: 6 Doubt I'll need it.

1. Tigra will charge to G4 (via F3) and attack Enchantress with BCF. 8 on a 13. Roll is (5,2). Hits. No line of sight for Loki either. BCF roll: 4. Very nice. Enchantress takes 3 after her toughness. That makes up for Lorelai's MC :-)

Free: Black Panther will outwit Loki's invuln.

2. Have to go for it since I'll lose outwit regardless. Panther will push to attack Loki. 8 on a 16. Roll is (6,4). Hits Loki for one (man I wish I had exp Panther and BCF right now). Panther's stealthed so Loki can't use PC. Panther takes one from the push and loses outwit so Loki has invuln again. Losing his phasing makes him easier to tie up though.

3. Cap will try for a hit on Executioner. 9 on a 16 + 1. 8 or better. Roll is (3,3). Missed. Ah well. 2 out of 3 ain't bad.

4. Wasp goes suicidal and flies to N6. Yes right next to Ulik. Can we say delaying tactic?

Black Knight and She-Hulk will clear.

I think that's it once again. Nice hit on Enchantress and Loki's hurt but I lost outwit. This game could still easily go either way.

Wasp is so gonna get clobbered.

This game rocks though :-)

Wiht Panther that's always a tough choise I'm glad it paid off. Victory favors the bold!

I've just got a bad feeling about doing something wiht Ulik this turn ............Janet just doesn't seem worth the effort..........and especially not enough to go against my gut.

Wasn't someone just saying something about victory favoring the bold.
