but a question, since PW is the one that can ignore all powers, Team Abilities, and feat cards.....so isn't Extended Range one of the feat cards? If using PW, wouldn't it kind of ignore the feat card, thus nullifying the range? Correct? :cross-eye :speechles

If they did, you'd be caught in a catch-22, where they'd ignore their own PW and not be able to use it, but if they didn't use, they didn't ignore, which means they could use it... oh, my head hurts already.

so...will you bring it up to WK forum and find out, if you have access to the forum? I don't have any access to WK forum at all.

It has been brought up and, as Funky said, please be patient. A lot of stuff went down this weekend and hair and Seth will get to it when the get to it.
I think it's pretty clear - for each square you extend the range, the target(s) will be dealt 1 less damage.
In the case of a regular Multi-target Pulse Wave, the Damage Value becomes 1, and is then reduced by one for each square the range has been extended. So basically, if you extend the range ou won't do any damage. Period.
In a single-target PW or Nova Blast attack, the damage value remains the same during the attack, and once it is resolved, it is reduced by 1 for each square the range was extended. So if Phoenix extended her range 3 squares, she wouldn't do any damage either. If she increased her range 1 square, she would do 2 damage. There's really no point in extending the range 2 squares since it is halved anyway...
All clear?
I think you're right. The key seems to be that Nova Blast says "Use the character's unmodified damage value for the attack". It doesn't say that you deal damage equal to your unmodified damage value, just that you USE it. So you begin with your unmodified damage value, but then any modifiers that take effect afterward would still happen.
