"Come daughter," the elder queen said. "Three humans should be no match for us."
"Even those with superpowers?" the younger asked.
"They will find I am not without powers of my own, inherited from my old host," the elder grinned toothily. She flew into the house.
"Come, warrior," the younger said, indicating the largest of the warriors, the one dubbed Divebomber. "My mother may be confident in her powers, but I am not so foolhardy to rush into battle without a bodyguard."
Dazzler and Psylocke follow Batman into the room. Before they enter Batman speaks.
"You're glowing. Turn it down. You're like a lighthouse to these creatures."
"Oh right, sorry, it's a personal habit," Dazzler jokes.
"This is serious. If you're here to help, help, otherwise leave."
"I have to say you are the most ingracious piece of **** I've ever had the misery to meet. You make the brood look appealing," says Psylocke in attack stance.
"Shhhh...", he says not even noticing her anger, too busy hearing the brood moving in the hallway.
"Be ready," is all he says but it's enough to stop both X-women in their tracks and listen.
Psylocke will attack V Brood warrior in K15 (after Dazzler perplexes her damage to 4). Needs 5 (with hindering---lof shows fine), rolls 7. He's on his last click.
Batman to H12. He'll outwit Prof X's mc.

Betsy readies her psychic knife, "There's one of the brood around the corner, I sense his hungry drive like a shark smelling blood in the sea."
"Charming metaphor, Betts," Dazzler replies.
Psylocke slips out from her cover and slams her psychic knife into the brood creature almost completely incapacitating him before dissappearing into safety.
"The male," the younger queen commanded, having seen Batman slip past. "After him!"
"Yes, my queen," Divebomber obeyed. He was outside the house in a flash, and in the air. Then like his namesake he dove at Batman. The move was obvious and Batman saw it coming. By the time Divebomber was back at ground level, Batman was nowhere near. The Brood barely pulled out of his dive in time to avoid crashing into the earth.
"Fool," the queen cursed him. "You call yourself a warrior, and you nearly let your prey, my children's host, escape!"
"Bah, one thing these earthers have done right," the elder queen complained. "They invented the phrase, if you want something done right you must do it yourself." She flew out to join her daughter and Divebomber in their attack on Batman.
