DC always was more popular in latin america, over there the DC comics have more power, of course the new Marvel movies made new fans, but "classic" fans are always DC. In latin america, the comics what we get more in the past was the New Justice League by Giffen (and Europe) Batman of Aparo, Superman by Byrne, and Flush Man (long history, he is Flash) Wally West after Crisis new series.

Halo was in the '90s version, along with Geo-Force, Katana and Looker. But no Black Lightning (who had a decent but short lived solo series at the same time) or Metamorpho, who was in JLI.

Geo-Force hasn't been seen much in years. I can think of a guest spot in the Millenium Giants story in Superman and brief appearances in OWAW and a Titans Secret Files issue.

Probably his most notable appearance someone brought up here the other day was in JLA: The Nail, an Elseworlds story where Black Canary had formed the Outsiders and Geo-Force had a higher profile as a hero. Other stuff happens, but that's the Geo-Force part of it.

Now if Seth made the Outsider team ability copyable by wildcards I'd be a happy camper.

yea, I remember the Nail, was very good (no like the end but..) I'm sure what that happen (important Geo Force) because Alan Davis was in the creators of that elselwords.

for me Batman queting the JLA was a breaking news, Imagine this:

a young Carlos in a country without comic books what just have a few Superfriends comics and Super Powers toys were everybody is happy in the JLA satelite, and like a punch I get the first number of the Outsiders were Batman is leaving the League, I remember what I say: "wow, this is the more important change in the history of comics"

and after that the questions, were is Robin, were is the rest of the Superfriends? very slowly I "meet" the truly Universe DC but with the Outsiders eyes comic book.

would love to see Windfall, Atomic Knight (another classic hero from 1960s alongside Adam Strange), Technocrat, Wylde, and Faust to be added to the clix roster need to be made. Would be cool if Fauna would be added too.

then add Grace, Indigo, Shift (Unique), and remake Nightwing so I can play three different carnations from each era!

Robin Grayson share his secret identity with all the Teen Titans, this is something what batman don't do with the Outsiders, and he KNOW all the secret identitys of the team members, thast was cool back on the day, what do you think about that?

I can't believe we actually get a "Outsiders's day" how I "predicted" I jsut was hoping that, but come on! Geo Force in clixs? Katanna? wow, just wow, I'm a lucky heroclix fan.

Yeah, but they're "outsiders". Get it? They don't work well with other teams. And the new team doesn't even work well with itself.

I am glad that Carlos' enthusiasm for clix and the new set got rewarded. Personally, though I always was a huge Jim Aparo fan, I never cared for the Outsiders as a team. I did like the individual characters, however. I liked the fact that Geoforce turned out to be related to Terra because I was an avid reader of Perez and Wolfman's New Teen Titans. I have not followed Winick's Outsiders but feel that Nightwing is probably a better leader for the team than Bats - who after all is the biggest outsider of them all. I might give the old Aparo stories another chance, especially if they get reprinted in DC's new Showcase Presents b/w trade paperback format.
