Yeah, I have had a GC for over 2 years. No games have ever frozen.(nor have I ever heard of a GC game freezing)
While my buddy on the other hand got a PS2 and has had it 1 year and it has froze/broken down on him 3 times.(to where he had to go and get it fixed)
Im in the same boat except Ive had my GC since release date.
But hey why have a good value quality console, when you can have a mroe expensive one and have it break down freeze constantly (PS2) or have a horrid customer service based, brimful of problems (Xbox 360) more expensive consoles.
Glitch #2
My game wouldn't load. (PS2)
At the time I had two memory cards, and was using a regular controller, although the last time I saved an XMen legends II game I was using a remote controller.
WHAT I DID:
Took out my oldest memeory card, and put back in my remote controller. I have since played a new game on "normal". I have not yet tried to load a previously saved game
it’s kinda sad that the most dominant figures in this game are hookers, medics, and dogs…..
My family and I have been having Loads of fun playing this game (for XBOX), but we just had it freeze up on us twice, at around (not exactly) the same location. They were both around the Deadpool fight, the first maybe 5 of so minutes before, the second maybe 10 minutes after.
I do believe our Hero Stash is pretty darn full (Im a packrat, what can I say ), though after reading this thread Ill surely be selling some as soon as we play next. Our team is always Magneto and Storm, with me switching every other level from Cyclops to Juggernaut, and our fourth we just throw in a random remaining guy (currently Gambit.....maybe well switch him too, for Rogue or someone)
Great game, longer than I expected, the different outfits for each guy are great, and loads of Danger Room missions are great as well. Cant wait to see who the 3 Locked Characters are, though Im assuming Iron Man is one of them as were finding his armor.
Oh hey, while Im here, any hints about how to really get the most out of Juggernaut? (one of my favorite guys to play). Heck, even our occassional NPC Colossus has better stats than my Juggy, not to mention better defensive powers to boot. Are there some Grade A items I should be putting on Juggernaut to make him a bit more Unstoppable? (Colossus has some green super item that shoots his Defense thru the roof, an item only he can have, and its sad when my playing character is jealous of the NPC one)

Juggernaut hits his peak when your unlock his "Balanced Form". I have his Critical Strike and his Presicion (sorry if I am a bad speller) at max and he is a beast with his regular attacks.
Just a side note. I started the thread and thought I had fixed the problem, but I had not, and got almost to the end and had the game freeze while it was loading. I had not used a cheat and had my people at great levels...I was mad.
I sold the game, only to buy it again and found out that it was just an all around glitch. So I started over and put a few cheats in (making up for all my hard work I lost) and am having some fun with it again. It kinda stinks though that I have to be really cautious about what is in my inventory and my characters that are on the screen at the same time.
Were talking more about watching how much is in the Hero Stash, over what our actual characters are playing I hope. (as I do like to pick up items )
The "problem" with my Juggernaut is that in the beginning I kept upping his Strike and Body, thinking Body was also Body Armor (aka Defense). I later found out that Speed was actual Defensive, a skill I didnt bother upping much, and Body was more Hit Points. Im sure hed be as good as the others if I wasnt going back and forth between him and Cylops. Ill check out more of Balanced Form though, thanks for the tip.

I have been playing the game pretty much every moment i have not spent doing homework since christmas, everyone is level 63+ and magneto (my favorite character) is level 70!!!!!! I have it for PC, and I was fighting with the living monolith, and midway through the fight, it shut down, so the customer service guy told me to empty my hero stash. It was so hard to part with those plutonium bracers of atlas and omega bands and stuff. (sniffle)
juggernaut has a green character specific item also, it is called the cyttorak enhancer, it gives +10% to move rate, makes him immune to slow, and a few other things, so it's awesome; it is a belt, you have to do his danger room challenge first though.
Really really rarely, you will find a green character specific item in a barrel, my brother found "professor xavier's dream", which gave 50 mental damage, 700 defense and other stuff, then he accidentaly sold it to forge, couldn't buy it back, he left to amass some tech bits, came back, and IT WAS GONE!!!
my other brother found some gear belonging to Unus, it , of course gave a huge bonus to defense.
the first time i played, and my guys got iron man's gauntlets, i tried to put them on, and they weren't in my inventory, and I thought, what a rip off! The first time i played it, i did not know how to change your team, so magneto, wolverine, storm and cyclops went through almost the whole game for me, then on the last part I switched wolverine for juggernaut
I dig juggernaut also, I upped thunder punch all the way, to where it deals 820% physical damage w/ 3 second stun. also balanced form is all the way up. the best gear for him is juggernaut's mantle, which gives him +3 to widowmaker (I love that name!) also some gloves of his give +2 to crimson rage. if you can't get those, then give him something that gives health per KO, so he can do widowmaker more.
I thought we had left this characteristic back in the sixties, but my PS2 requires that it "warm -up " before it will be at its best. If I try to put in Madden, or XMen 2 immediately after turning it on, it will sputter and whirl, and for the most part refuse to load up the game. But if I turn it on, and wait a couple of minutes, the chance of success is much greater. Times may of changed, but electrical properties remain the same.

Thank you for keeping this for the record. I went back to play it again and no matter what system I used, I always hit a snag about the time I hit the streets of New York, which must be the time my stash becomes too full. I also noticed that that a symptom of this is dealing with radioactive features. Until I found out about the stash problem, I stayed away from radioactive characters as much as possible. If they were enemies, I would simply try to get past them.
