It's Hawkeye, he's the kid's father. He got around quite a bit. It's not too far-fetched to think he'd fool around with a skrul, as long as it was female... course, with skruls being shape-shifters, well, these things do happen, no?

Has it been established how Skrulls reproduce? Do they change sex in function as well as form? Can they change sex?

Now you have me thinking to the most powerful shapeshifter out there, Mystique. She can change retina patterns, scent phermones... could she pop out some functioning testiscles? Wouldn't it be wild to find out that the whole Nightcrawler's mother is a lie, and she is really Nightcrawler's Father?

Well I thought that the kid had a Skrull Parent and a KREE one. Thats what the latest issue seems to be saying.

Skrulls can morph into male or female but they are definately one or the other. They only seem to affect thier outward appearace. When they take the form of an inanimate object they dont take on the properties of it. Just the appearance. Mystique s metamorphasis goes down to the cellular level apparently. They had wanted Mystique to be Kurts father originally, but they didnt have the balls to go through with it. If you think aobut it thugh, Mystique could have been a male or female since both genders share the same chemicles. It would jut be bout rewriting the DNA ad reorganising the body to a previous exsitence. We are all female until a certain time then the male hormones either kick in or dont and transforms some of us. Were all holding the same genetic garbage inside.

They originally wanted Mystique to be his daddy and a certain blind woman to be his mother, that's right... Destiny.

Well, Re-reading the conversation between Super Skrull and Teddy does make it seem like Mar-vell and the Skrull Princess might have hooked up and spawned Hulkling. Then the Kree Army coming in at end also bolsters that theroy. Then in the conversation aslo mentions Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver. There is a connection to Tommy and Billy right there. Maybe they did some DNA mucky-mucky. I could see the 3 of them being a result of that meeting and then being sent to Earth to be hidden for safety or something. Wanda and Pietro's DNA being used somehow to make the boys.

Hell, if it were in the Ultimate Universe, I could see the Wanda and Pietro mixing it up to make a baby, doing that hillbilly loving. Disturbing as that is.

But maybe you missed someone who could've knocked the Princess up? Could it be Rick Jones? I'm not sure of the time-line involved, but, there were times when Rick and Mar-Vell were "bonded".

COuld be but Mar-Vell was th eone pictured and he was a Kree soldier, not Jones. And it might not have been actual sex. Jones and Mar-Vell were basically inhabiting the same space and only one could appear at a time. SO if Mar-Vell was there then Jones would have been physically elsewhere. I thinks its more on the genetic manipulation veign.

I think it's fairly clear that Hulkling is Mar-Vell's kid, which would likely change his name to Marvel Boy at some point.

It's also fairly obvious that the twins are Wanda's kids, since there are so many allusions to her and her brother in them (speed and magic, white and brunette hair, the direct connection to Wanda from the special issue, etc.).

Remember, there are are least FOUR likely "wanda-lings" running around the Marvel U right now, the twins, Layla Miller in X-Factor, and Proteus in Exiles (since the real one is dead, this one exists only because he was brought back in HoM and left 616 before HoM reverted). She's clearly able to "make" people, she made thousands of them in HoM (Half the cast of New Mutants during HoM was dead characters), so the twins aren't even half a stretch.

Of course both could be red herrings.

Oh, and Wanda's twins AREN'T real, however, she's nearly godlike in power, so they're real as long as she believe they're real (who knows, perhaps even after her own death), and if she "implants" them fully grown into the world and tells the world that they've always been there, then the world plays along with it.

Not QUITE true. Y chromosome. Girls don't have it. It's true that all boys start out their development as girls, and it's possible to stunt that transition and keep them as girls, males have all the data in them needed to create females (which is why Saber Marionette J made little sense), but without the Y chromosome a girl cannot become a boy. Genetically speaking, Mystique can easilly make herself look exactly like a man, but to change her own DNA to the point that she is genetically a man, and can pass on her own genetic material as a man, I think that's probably beyond her abilities (maybe not, but it's really precise and advanced stuff).

Of course, the twisted plotline would be that she WAS born as a man, and does have XY chromosomes, but was a transexual from an early age, and used her powers to make herself indistinguishable as such. Of course, that's harder at this point, since carrying a baby to term in a "fake" shape-shifted uterus is a bit unlikely.

Isn't there already a new Marvel Boy, Vance Astrovik (Justice) gave his old MB costume to some kid with powers awhile back, in Justice's limited series.

Also, I gotta note, Twins don't normally have twins themselves. Then again, Wanda can alter reality, so who knows?

I still think Hawkeye didn't die, but was no where to be seen. No body was found. So, the one seen in HOM wasn't the real 616 Hawkeye. Weirdness.

First, I dunno about that twins thing, twins are just a genetic abnormality. I don't think a twin has any less ofa chance of having an egg split then a non-twin. And do know that Wiccan and this new guy are the same age? They could be brothers that just look a lot a like, I don't think Wanda's children were twins anyway (could be wrong). And Wanda doesn't "pluck" people or send people to alternate realities. You've posted that Hawkeye thing before and its bull####, Hawkeye DIED, Wanda changed reality and brought him back to live in HoM, he was not "sent" to the HoM universe, there is no HoM universe, it was the 616 universe. Just because you don't seem to be able to crasp the concept of reality alterning doesn't mean she "plucks people" from other realities.

Wanda created the Twins. It was linked to her Hex powers. When ever she wasnt around the boys just dissappeared. I think there was a story arc where the boys were actually part of master Pandemoniun but they seems to have forgotten that. Or im remembering wrong. But I thought when he absorbed the boys he ragained part of his soul or soemthing.
Twins migh be an abnomality, but if you had th e power to affect probablility, then it would be nothing to uncounsciously influence twins. Just like Wanda had been doing all these years. She didnt mean to it just happened.
