It's a great contest, although I was very intimidated by the questions. Also, I've been very busy so I've just now read through it. And it ends in 1.5 hours.

Well, looks like time is almost out (or is, I'm not sure on conversion from MST), and I'm not done. Should I send in the answers I have (about half), or is that deadline pushback that was talked about going to happen?

Sent in half my answers. Was making good time, then the basement flooded. Let me know if there's an extension.

If everybody else is like me, the reason we haven't answered is because we're getting pooped out. This is like an endurance test. Soooo many questions. Also, most of us already have most of what we want out of CD now, so I think the reward is a little less enticing. :errm:

Sorry. If there is an extension I might do it, but I look at the list of questions and my brain shuts down at the prospect of a full day's worth of research.

Well looks like we had three entrants who submitted and timestamped, two of whom admit to not being able to complete, so DocMonocle may have a new CoIE tpb coming his way.

Anyway, when's the big finale gonna roll around? I'm gonna be traveling across the country soon, and need to know if I should plan on making time for the contest and bring my reference materials.

As if you ever know what reference materials Rokk is going to make you hunt through. Heck, each time out I've had to make some back-issue bin diving as well as some hunting through my own collection. And this time, I had to dig out a coffee-table book that was hiding in my game room done by a certain artist that I have hot and cold feelings on (he's one talented hack).
But I vote for my preference that the final quiz come up on either Wednesday or Thursday, giving a chance for last-second questions from the next installment of Infinite Crisis.

Hmm...well, I admit this puts me in a bit of a quandry.

I don't think I should extend the deadline as this was up for over a week - including the front page (and one day in General Forum and the remaining days on here) - and that seems to penalize those that did try to get this done. On the flipside, well, participation is pretty much null now (no offense meant to the people that did send in a great batch of answers - just saying it's only a smidgen compared to previous weeks).

I realize folks think this is a "endurance run" or the like. Frankly, I don't know how else to make this a more-or-less fair competition for the prizes invovled. Not to sound snotty but by the time all is said and done by the end of Final Crisis that's hundreds of dollars in prizes and your entry fee was, well, zero - just some time. Like I said, I don't mean that snotty but, rather, trying to point out that I had to make there be some "effort" involved to separate the winner from everyone else. It does seem, however, that I've erred...

I admit I really do have to reconsider where to go from here.

I agree Rokk Krinn on the fact that we shouldn't complain too much since this was all free. I do, however, wish to reiterate my question from before, since I didn't send it at the time:
