Well, there are a couple problems with the logic...
One, if I hit Nebula and she masterminds to Wasp, I don't believe I take Mystic damage from that, because I did not attack the Wasp.
Two, if Mystique gives Jeanne 4 damage and I hit Wasp, she's dead. Leaving Jean on running shot, and Nebula sitting there.
I don't think it will be as problematic as you think.
I think you are right. It doesn't work that way. I sit corrected. Check the lines I highlighted to see why.
Mystics: When this character takes damage from an attack, the attacker takes 1 damage. This damage is not an attack and cannot be reduced.
MASTERMIND (optional): Each time this character would be dealt damage, you may instead choose to have all the damage be dealt to a single adjacent friendly character with a lower point value than this character. If the damage resulted from
an attack with knockback, the character that takes the damage suffers the knockback. If a character is KOd by damage dealt through this power, it is considered to have been KOd by the character that originally dealt the damage. Damage dealt by this power is not an attack.

Oh yeah...the big problem is hitting Nebula (or Wasp in this particular case). Jeanne needs an 8 to hit for 4 or a 7 to hit for 3 (with Mystique's Perplex).

42% chance you'll roll 7 or more. While 7 is the most likely roll made on 2d6 it is far from average (according to most schools) which is 70-79% Neener neener neener!

Jeanne and Mystique owned them both. I personally think that the team is very close to unbeatable at 100 points. I like yours though also...Madame Hydra is one of my favorite LE's.
Armor Wars Spidey with damage shield, armor piercing, and protected.
100 points of butt kicking good ness-you've got a consistently high defense throughout, incap against mystics, damage dealing to close combat people (if they get through the high defenses) and those high attack values . . .
Sure no move and attack, but Armor Wars Spidey don't need no stinkin' move and attack.
Eh . . .
I have no sekrets, I just am.
Want to see me strip, sing, screw up my lines, and dance for my senior year spring play? Then check this out!
Here's a 100 point team I used (we ran 100, 200, and then 300, when the 100 got killed, the 200 came out, when it died, out came the 300). I destroyed every 100 point team I face, half of a 200 point team (time ran out), and all of another 200 point team.
E Northstar
E SpyMaster
V Paramedic
Northstar carries SpyMaster arround with him to hide behind while he spends a turn clearing. While NS clears, SpyMaster takes pot shots at his foes. If you have to push, or faces TB'd mystics, the Medic keeps your boys healthy (you could also carry her into a forward position and move Spy Master solo the first turn).
Just remember not to Thunderbolt Northstar. His free move HSS is key to getting an extra attack in one turn and run away with Spy Master in tow.
