I like all the Spidey versions; I like how they all bring something different to the table. Even the Symbiote is interesting, and doesn't look too shabby for its point cost.

Jessica will probably return to superhero status fairly soon (I'm guessing there'll be some arc where her daughter is kidnapped). Jewel was a nice surprise-- totally out of left field.

Now thats SPIDERMAN. Thats a good rep of him.

Agreed. Although I do kind of hope that the Vet has the original costume and not the Symbiote. Not a huge deal though. Can always replace that fig with one from Critical Mass or Infinity Challenge if I get extras. Plus I LOVE that the ignored the feat card (Pounce) and actually gave Spidey his deserved 3 damage.

I like every version of Spiderman a lot, but I expect I'll be using the rookie the most. The Symbiote is neat and all, but I would have preferred if they upped the cost to 70 or so, and gave him powers on every slot. I know it's sort of a silly thing, but if Venom has powers in every slot, why can't the Symbiote? I would have liked to see a single click of Mind Control too.

I'm finally happy with a spidy. I like all 3, I was thinking the E the worst till someone pointed out the transporter bit. As it is, all 3 are incredibly useful looking.

Also, I like the symbiote as a seperate LE. Thats just neat, even if he's only about moderatly playable.

Purely a guess, but I'd say yes. I could maybe understand if you didn't care for the Transporter mechanic as a game effect in general, but as it stands, it's a perfect power for Spiderman.
Spidey carries people all the time - transporter allows this.
Spidey swings in on a web and drop kicks someone in the face all the time - transporter allows this.
Granted, while Spidey also webs people on the fly, too, it shouldn't be doing damage, but I'd say that Transporter is more accurate for Spidey than not.
The only character who deserves it as much or more is Nightcrawler.

Pretty much sums up your feelings about everything clix related.



Anywho...
I really dig that Vet Spidey is an Avenger, so I can do my New Avengers team. Even if it is a bit anachronistic with him in the black costume.

Totally missed the E - Transporter thing until someone pointed it out.

Also pretty surprised they made Jewel a totally different sculp. This might be a first. (Unless you count Mahlah & The Brain, which is kinda close..)
