Great for the points, there seem to be a few low point cost efective figs in this set, is that because there higher point brothers A are not good for there points or B cant seem to muster a 10 atk

The Le I want the most, charge 9atk 3dmg, willpower, Leadership, and Shield TA (which suprised me), yeah Hes gonna be fun (I hope I get him)

hmm 3 clicks of 10 is good (great for thes newer sets), I just wish he did 3 dmg upfront, the more i think about it, I guess its best to just push of the first cilck and get to 10 and 3(via RCE) with stealth, so RS into some hindering then push... I was kinda maybe hopeing for Syn TA but I was not expecting it.

the others are hit and miss, Symbiote and Kyle are kinda interesting ( to bad charge and CCE dont work together)

Overall, I think the LE's for this set represent the best I have seen thus far. I have never seen SO MANY that I really want...

That said, I suppose there was a part of me that was hoping Kitty as the yielder of the soul sword would represent the 4th truly playable X-men piece (I know, open for debate, but the only 3 I truly enjoy using are U Nightcrawler, U Phoenix, and V Havok........ok, and maybe Karma...) but she is just kinda "meh" Conceptually I think she's awesome, but she, once again, falls into the all-too-popular territory of Xmen heroclix that are pretty cool but about 150% overcosted for what you're getting. (Like the exact opposite of Kraven the Spider...)

Brunnhilde is awesome.....The only LE that stinks, and it stinks pretty hardcore, is LE Goblin Princess....She is so overpriced.......she just doesn't seem worth her point cost at all....

All the other LEs rock....LE Soulsword Wielder w/ Nanobots will replace the role that Anaconda often played in my teams...LE Monica Rambeau is just killer, which is great because I find her V to not really be worth the points so this makes up for it....

....yeah she's junk ...whatever, people need to get over their X-Men dislike or just not read Marvel...it's so stupid...not only is the dial awesome but it's a representation of the character we haven't had AND it fulfills a role in X-Men teams that they have yet to had.....Too bad that it's an X-Men....TOOOOOO BAD!!!! You are going to keep seeing them in EVERY MARVEL SET!!!! You can't fill a set with even slightly well-known characters without putting X-Men in it...just like you couldn't do it with DC with no aliens.....People just need to GET OVER IT....


What on earth are you talking about?!?!?! How can you think that she isn't worth the points? She is AMAZING for the points....On top of that their are NUMEROUS X-Men pieces that are playable....V Storm, RV Iceman, RV Magma, EV Domino(arguably one of the BEST PCers in the game), V Magick, U Xorn(in 400 and up games), U FF Wolverine, Starter E Wolverine, BOTH V Psylockes, R Polaris, E Bishop, V Rogue, V Quicksilver.....just to name the cream of the crop....

I will defintely give you both V Psylockes...and I suppose Domino and the Starter Wolverine are pretty darn effective for what they are... and ugh, yes, U FF Wolverine is pretty sweet as well...

I guess I get dissapointed when I consider putting together an Xmen team, and I look at what I have assembled for 300/400/500pts, etc... and it just doesn't ever seem to stack up to what i am able to do with those points elsewhere. I can see including some Xmen on teams, but I rarely EVER see an all Xmen team do well competitively... If it was just me, I could see it being a case of me just needing to realize that I am just playing them all wrong, but it seems more often than not people would agree it is difficult to be competitive fielding just Xmen.

You’re kidding. Again they make this mistake? Neither Magik, nor Shadowcat should have B/C/F while wielding the Soulsword, given that is passes harmlessly through non-magical creatures (i.e. most of the figures). I don’t know why this bugs me so much, but it does. I guess because such a large point of it was made in the comics every time the subject of the sword was brought up.

lol sorry I think a little of my zeal against people complaining about X-Men pieces in general was carried over into my post with you which you were not doing....so sorry about that.

Nobody around here finds it difficult to field a competitive X-Men team though...we see them often...I actually would argue that they are one of the easiest teams to build thematically and competitively

Those do sound like good teams... I guess I have to adjust to living in a Vet Icons Supes world... (out of protest, I have never fielded him...) And I must admit I do not own a V Quicksilver...

With the addition of so many feats, I think I need to take a nice long and hard look at competing with the Xmen.
