A lot of people say how art can ruin a book. I see how the art helps and can ruin a story, but the overrall book can be destroyed by bad writing. Sometimes a story can move to slowly or be so outlandish that no type of art can save it. Writing can be so amazing that it sets the mood for the art, that they move hand in hand. The writing and art in Sin City go hand in hand, but I believe it is due to the tone of the writing that helps make them flow together. When i buy my books, I buy them for the story that they tell, not who the artist is.
