Batman says..."But, Bats, we know they're over there, why don't we just," Geo-Force interjects..."Brian, move." "Now" Geo-Force picks up Black Lightning and goes to R8, dropping BL at S9.

Now comes the pain...I can feel it already.

Turn 3, player 1

1) "Um Brainy, I see them...I got a shot. Should I take it?" Cosmic Boy says in an excited manner. "Um, you seem kind of nervous...you ok?" Shadow Lass whispers to Cosmic Boy. "Oh yeah...you know, first battle and whatnot..." "Use your targeting computers that I gave you!" Brainiac barks into his com link. "Oh yeah!" Shadow Lass brightens and brings out her targeting unit (Shadow Lass will be copying the PD TA and adding +1 to CB's attack). "Let me help you too...." Brainiac mutters and moves to I-11 (Brainiac 5 is now copying the PD TA and adding +1 to CB's attack), "Maybe if we combine our efforts, we can calm his first battle jitters".

2) "Use your homing device!" Brainiac reminds Cosmic Boy (CB is now copying the Superman Ally TA to negate the +1 hindering bonus to Black Lightning). Cosmic Boy brings his hands out and lifts the dumptruck from J-9 and flings it at Black Lightning. 8 (+2 from PD, -2 from Rushed assault) to a 16. 3 and 3 = 6. "You missed." Brainiac whispers.

3) "Hey!" Shadow Lass looks around, "Where did my cover go? I gotta find a better hiding spot!" and moves to P-15 where she takes cover under the light object.

Free) "Well, since you missed, we gotta make sure he cannot retaliate!" Brainiac brings out a mini machine that looks like a remote control and points it at Black Lightning, "This will create some interference so he won't be able to concentrate on his shots" and outwits Black Lightning's running shot. "And everyone...turn back on your cloaking devices!" (all LoSH copy the Bat Ally TA at the end of the turn)

(stupid dice....oh well, someone had to miss first! I am confused about the things now...do Shadow Lass or B-5 get anything for assisting CB on his attack even though it missed or does B-5 get anything for outwiting Black Lightning's Running Shot? I am thinking "no" to all since I missed, right? And outwitting Black Lightning's running shot isn't really an assist or an attack)

Since Black Lightning could have performed a RS on Supergirl, and Brainiac outwitted it, he gets a DEFEND point.

With the Assist thing, that's a question for TMNT. With Perplex, the attack has to hit exactly (needing a 7 with perplex, rolling a 7) for it to count. I don't believe that TA's allow you to score those points though, so no assists for the PD TA...I think.

Turn 3, Player 2:

"This is gonna get messy now." Batman whispers. "But, we like messy."

"Jefferson, let's focus on Kara." With that Black Lightning tosses a Lexcorp isssue (thanks to the gov't) power nullifier by the grouping wher Supergirl is. (Outsider Kara)

Batman then takes out a small green pellet and lobs it Supergirls way. She seems to lose her grip on the park bench she has at the ready in her left hand. He leaps to S7 and outwits the Superstrength on Supergirl.

Turn 4, Player 1:

Brainiac 5 checks his heatsensors and looks at the green pellet near Kara's feet. "It looks like Batman is in the game. Things just got tougher."

1) "I won't miss twice!" Cosmic Boy grits his teeth exerts some strength and turns on his homing device (copying SA TA) and flings the fallen park bench (HO at I-9) at Batman. 3+2 = 5 + 8 = 13 against a 16. Miss.

"Drat!" Cos grimaces.

Free) "I have figured out that Batman threw a Kryptonite pellet at you Kara," Brainiac stares at his computer, "And this beam should neutralize the effects for now." Brainiac brings out a laser and zaps the pellet into dust. (Brainiac copies the SA TA and outwits Batman's outwit)

2) Kara stands up and smiles, "MUCH better, thanks Brainy!" She takes to the skies and picks up the battered car in P-10 and lands next to Shadow Lass on o-15, hovering above the water.

3) Cos looks over to the water. "Chameleon, go give Kara some cover while I rest up! We have to regroup." Chameleon takes to the sky and lands next to Shadow Lass and Kara in O-14.

Free) Brainiac 5 looks at his teammates, "Do not forget to turn on those cloaking devices." (All LoSH are coping the Bat Ally TA at the end of the round)

Bats surveys the field, but before he even gets an order out, CMJr senses the Wisdom of Solomon kick in and grabs Bats cowl. "We must go after the strategist..." Captain Marvel Jr. will HSS attack Brainiac, going to I10 and dropping Bats in H11. He will yoink the LO out of under Cosmic Boy. 9 to a 14 for 3 clix and the KO. Roll is: (2,2) for a 4 and the miss. Typical dice for me, they're back this season apparantely. This is why they let me keep a 4th character.

"He always misses...but, I won't!" Black Lightning performs a running shot. He will use Stunning blow and duel target Cosmic Boy and Chameleon from Q9. 9 to a 14/16. But, is it Chameleon? Even with his best effort to look like a tree, Black Lightning see through it. (SC-3). Roll is: 6,1 for a 7. I'll sink 1 and a token onto Chameleon for 2 Total. I'll put one on Cosmic Boy.

"I'll go after the Girl of Steel, just keep everyone else busy." Geo-Force flies to N16, picking up the LO from P15 along the way. He drops Black Lightning behind him at M17. He will Outsider Supergirl.

Braniac 5 dodges the blow by Freddy and shouts into his com link "Kara, we have a big problem over here!"

Free) Brainiac 5 brings out his computer and points it at Freddy. "Say goodbye to your magical protection Freddy!" B-5 outwits BA's Impervs.

1) Kara looks at GeoForce standing in front of her, "We all have problems right now," she mutters, "I'm coming, I gotta get by this first". Breakaway Charge - roll is a 2. "GeoForce just blocked me...I ain't going anywhere right now!" (groan...come on here!)

2) Brainiac 5 sighs "Guess I have to try and do this myself. Normally I am not a fighter but...." 6+ (4+5) = 15 compared to 14. Brainiac 5 balls up his fist and cracks Freddy in the face for 1!

3) A shadowy figure creeps along the bushes. "Nice going Brainy...but now it's my turn...." Inivisble Kid remarks to herself. (Huntress moves to C-10)
