I truly think that Hercules is the one to fall. Man, I never really liked Thor all that much, and this isn't helping me like him any more. What a tool...
And if Marvel was STUPID enough to make Thor kill Cap, I would send at least 10 complaint letters, quit reading Marvel, and start reading DC just to make them mad.

The latest Spiderman takes place after the fight where there were prisoners...so we know Cap, Cloak and Dagger, Davedevil (Iron Fist), and....I think there was someone else...are OK. But, we don't know who was being transported thus we cannot deduce who was left. Someone at my venue thinks they killed Goliath off (He imagines Thor launching his hammer through his giant chest for overkill effect). Hercules should have been able to survive that lightning...he's Herc!
I was really unimpressed with this issue of Ult-F4...Someone better get the message to Mike Carey that we actually want to read stories that involve the title characters. He did fine with the Annual, but that's probably because I could firkin UNDERSTAND the dialogue.
The Ultimate X-Men Annual was I think the weakest of the four Ultimate Annuals this year. It gets good marks for advancing a few storylines (mostly Rogue's) but I was left wondering (in a dumb way) why Rogue would refer to Nightcrawler as a "monster" yet be totally oblivious to Wolverine's actions...I can speculate (as can most fans) but considering the final line of dialogue, we were owed some explanation within the pages...the only one we got was the early flashback to the assassination, and the one page of Xavier/Wolverine dialogue.
And to top it off...we barely got any motivation for Kurt's behavior, just pithy "Weapon X tramau" and/or "Mental Disorder" and/or "Lonely Mutant".

Yea, he could easily survive that lighting bolt, but not repeated lighting bolts from Thor. I think they will show Herc trying to go after Iron Man or Thor, and Thor stopping him by constantly bombarding him with lighting bolts.

Hercules could survive multiple bolts of lighting. At the end of the day all his wounds and damage is healed (or something like that).
He survived the entire Masters of Evil dog piling him and beating him 'to death'.
Remember, Herc is actually immortal. Something like only if you signifigantly reduce him to atoms and spread them out will totally kill him.

I'll totally echo this sentiment.
Massivly weak sauce, completely predictable plot line, and, well, it just didn't seem to come together in any sort of meaningful fashion. The seeming complete lack of modivation on Nightcrawler's part, coming literally straight out of the blue, is a shock coming from Kirkman, who's usually very good about introspective and well modivated things.
For the Civil War death, it looks like it would need to be Luke Cage unless it's someone on Iron Man's side (which wouldn't make sense). The people mentioned like Cap, Hercules, Falcon, Goliath, Cable and Daredevil can't be the ones killed because they're all shown still alive and breathing in Cable/Deadpool which happens after CW#3. That leaves the following:
Cloak - The only other possible character, but he was the first one taken out of the fight, so it's also unlikely.
Dagger - Not possible. Cable says something about losing "a good man".
Luke Cage - Not shown with the rest of the secret Avengers when Deadpool shows up. Should be there. So that means he's either captured or dead.
One of the Young Avengers - This would be the only other option I could imagine, but I'd think Cable would've said something like "that poor kid" instead of "a good man" in a case like that.
My guess is that they think Luke is dead (invulnerability making it hard to find a pulse or something) and instead he ends up being the one who gets captured and tortured by Tony.
Well, read the young avengers/runaways civil war thing #2
and the six-issue marvel boy mini.
You want spoilers?
[spoilers]
At the end of the Marvel Boy (noh-varr) mini he's put in the maximum security prison named Cube. They killed off the computer hive-mind and in it's place the warden of Cube put, well, himself. So the Warden has brain-washed Marvel Boy via Marvel Boy's connection to the hive-mind and is now all Elric looking and full of the evil goo known as general hatred of all things living
It seems like the Warden is actually holding his rage of being used back, or rather focusing it on a specific target.

I made this assumption at first too...but after realizing that Cable only mentioned the death after he returned to the duct taped Deadpool made me realize that the group that captured him just left for that fated mission! Meaning the only people revealed to still be kicking were those in the Spider-Man Tie In where he fought Cap, since that was a follow-up mission to save those that were captured! Thus post death...and explains why everybody was acting so solemn, someone was killed! If this is how Sue Storm dies I'm gonna laugh though.
Huh. Rereading it looks as if you're right. And looking at the Fantastic Four issue again, that confirms that Daredevil (Iron Fist), Dagger, Cap, and Luke were still alive and kicking so they couldn't been the ones to die. This timeline is a pain to follow and even moreso because of the delay. They really need to get issue four out to get everyone on the same page. It's weird that the main book is so far behind the side stories already.

And you don't think Thor could do that? For all we know, he could still be Odin-power Thor. And I am not saying that he will be permanently dead, but will at least be presumed dead in Civil War #4.

Odin-Thor certainly could, but the costume Thor was wearing was his classic, non Odin Thor.
Also, simply calling down the lightning wouldn't do it, it would require the use of the Odin Force, which could have ended the fighting without the lightning strikes.
Oh well, this is Millar and co, not known for being to up on continuity.
