That first click is all kinds of extreme and has to be protected from Charge or HSS asssassinations at all costs. .If you can do that, he will pay off in spades as he takes 13-attack shots from cover, or shares his 12 with anybody nearby through his TA. Thunderbolting him to stuff is just cruel! I would recommend focusing on ways to give him an 18+ defense (Defend, or T-bolt to a defensive-share TA) because of how fragile he is. He won't survive hand-to-hand for long, but BCF means he may do big damage going down. The big shocked is how after two clicks his damage output all but vanishes! Outwit is nice to have but he's better scramble to safety.

Because the rulebook/player's guide says that figures can only use any given effect once, even if it is coming from multiple sources. The "loophole" is that despite having the same effect, the Indy TAs that mimic Mystics are considered different and therefore can stack with Mystics.

STEP 1: Thunderbolt to Mystics. STEP 2: Copy a friendly Cross Gen TA. STEP 3: Tell your friends how great Captain Mako is. STEP 4: Add Cypher to your next team and hope they listened. That's right.

BUT it doesn't work like that : arachnos and crossgen and mystics don't STACK because they are different team abilities but they are the same/similar game effect. It's in the player's guide. Even Cypher can't achieve that.

*Wild cards cannot use a team ability if they are already using an identical mechanic through another game effect.

*Crack Enemy Communications causes the figures to copy the team ability in the same ways as a wild card.
