I finally got my hands on an Invincible fig and i am very well pleased by the simplicity and effectiveness of it. Good Sculpt, a Decent dial and well worth the points. Also with him having the teen keyword, he's perfect in a teen themed team alongside Mon-el. My only comment would be the lack of damage reducers at the end but otherwise, this is a good representation of Mark Grayson/Invincible.
It's hard to say no to an HSS flying brick! They've done a solid job making him a real bargain at those points... but the real shame is that he's so much better on his first click than any other, such that he becomes all about that click. I prefer a more spread-out arrangement of a dial, even if it would mean sacrificing some numbers on click 1. I'm not sure the ES/D is warranted.

He's a great representation of how he was in the comic when the figure came out. He's gotten beefier since then, but the figure holds up pretty well. Only problems: ES/D and lack of damage upswing at the end. When he's in deep, Mark gets angry and beats the snot out of people, he's never really dodgy. An ending click of 8 move, 9 attack and 3 damage would have made him perfect. Still, the most consistently successful figure I've ever played.

Mark here is a streamlined beat stick. I remember way back when people called him "New Black Adam." The top 6 clicks of his dial are really accurate, and really playable. Also, while its not very playable on him, Lunge is accurate because in the comics about half of his attacks end up in tackles anyway. Definitely Solid. I like the old costume better than the new by a significant amount (This sculpt has the old, mind you.) and the pose is pretty cool. One of my favorite characters. One of my favorite figures.
Sadly, this clix hasn't aged well. Beyond his first clix, he completely fails as a low-point brick by today's standards due to his weak mid-dial and all the way to his last remaining clixs. Though if you can keep him on his first clix, he'll be extremely effective at weakening your opponent's tie-up and support pieces. Do whatever you can to preserve that first clix.
Oh, and heads up to the folks picking up a discounted Invincible Collector's Set, this piece represents his powers in the first 30 issues. He's pretty much a 200+ monster in the comics (as of issue 72).
The thing is, when you start comparing him to other figures of that era, he's not that amazing. The Rookie Origins SHAZAM! does similar things, but way better unfortunately and they were released less than one year apart. So it's really hard to rate him properly when there are way more busted figures released in such a short time frame.
In a constructed 300pt game, Mark would be competing against SHAZAM and Young Superman from the Legion of Superheroes box set (released a year after Invincible). Young Superman might not have 1 click of Hypersonic, but he makes up for it with 8 range and 18 starting defense and consistently high numbers.
A lot of folks got into Invincible thanks to the Amazon show. Don't let my review detract you from using him. Hypersonic Speed is busted, especially if you're playing older formats with the same PAC powers of that time period. You just have to be a bit more creative with your opening plays, especially if you're facing off against an opposing SHAZAM across the map.
