From what I hear from others (I got spoiled; haven't read the issue yet), that was a red herring; Mr. Miracle wasn't actually one of the Seven Soldiers. I Spyder was the seventh.

SPOILER (for the benefit of Q99): Mr. Miracle released Aurackles from Darkseid's captivity so he could go back to his time and throw the spear that helped take down Gloriana. He was essential to the victory (and was definitely a Soldier).

I just picked up the fourth trade. It was very good, but what I expected? Not at all.

The handling of Jack Kirby's New Gods stuff was very well done - I loved the effects of the Anti-Life formula and the Omega effect - and I was surprised by just how much I came to like Frankenstein and the Bride. I'd love to have clix of them!

The ending with Klarion was also very fitting.

I'll have to agree with zero, I loved the Frankenstien mini. I missed the New Gods stuff. I missed alot of it, so looks like TPB time for me.

I read it all in TPB, and that worked well for me. The editors have carefully chosen the best order to read the issues in... you could definitely go back afterwards and re-read them in a different order, but overall I think they made the right decision.
