oooooooooooo....if they hit the cosmic reset button......mmmmm.....i whole-heartedly agree...CRAPTASTIC. the only good thing about that is that i could stop spending so much money on comics.
Personally, if they did push some kind of "cosmic reset button" and changed things back to the old Marvel status quo, I might actually start spending money on Marvel comics again.

I don't see the FF becoming an underground team though. Given the nature of the book - lots of stories with them in space, other deminsons etc... it wouldn't work. You would also have to take them out of the Baxter Building, which I dunno if they will.
Theres only one Return, and it ain't of the King, its of the Jedi.
I hate when Marvel takes the FF and breaks them up.
The FF have always been based on family and strong family values. It is a group of Imaginauts and shouldn't be messed with.
They've done it before, and if it will get more sales, they will do it again, just to see how many folks return to the title once the family is "back together."
Personally, I think the whole "cosmic reset button" is the only way Joe Q and company can get out of the ####-fest Marvel has created. But, to the topic at hand.
Reed Richards
3 other superheroes from the Pro-reg side.
In the end, it won't matter until Reed, Sue, Johnny, and Ben are all back together, which I believe will happen around June/July 2007, since the new FF movie will be out by then.
I believe (not sure though) that Thing, Black Panther and Storm are all netural. Depending on how Reed acts at the end of CW, I don't think it would be out of the question for a couple netural heroes to join him.

Have you read the last Black Panther issue? HE IS PISSED! He's going against the act now along with Storm.
You know who would be a perfect fit for this team? Wolverine. He was on it before, and it's not like he's doing anything at the moment. Wolverine should just be on every team now.

Duh! He can be on every team and when both teams show up in the same place, he'll be off on another mission so Marvel doesn't look bad at putting him in 89572982798 places at once!

If Joey Q wants to play ring around the rosey with super heroes then use The Avengers or various X-Teams.
*Sheesh*
Well, please set me straight if I'm mistaken, but I can't recall that last time in recent memory that someone was imploring me to pick up Fantastic Four b/c of the cool family dynamic. Is it even relevant anymore?

I can't see Storm/Black Panther on the Fantastic Four, but that's me. I'm waiting for Storm to lead the X-Men again though.
New Fantastic Four
Mr. Fantastic
Cloned Sue
Red Skull
Baron Strucker
Or if Reed is feeling frisky
Mr. Fantastic
Cloned Sue
Cloned Sue (with dyed red hair)
Cloned Sue (with dyed black hair)
Heh. But seriously. It's gotta be Invisible Woman and Human Torch. With Reed probably taking a back roll researching and Ben maybe doing some soul searching fighting french jerks. Like Batroc the Leaper.

Hmm - I like shake ups. If they are done right, they can breathe a new life in to something and do something notable. If they are done wrong, it cancel books...
... the worst thing about it is that its always a subjective thing.
Take the Clone Saga. Everyone loved Ben Reilly. The Scarlet Spider was great. That was handled well.
However, the rest of the saga? Not so much.
Another shake up that was handled poorly: Superman Red and Blue. What the hell was that all about?
I'd really like to see Sue Storm take a leading role in something. Her joining the New Avengers is the wrong way to go, IMO. Its an interesting idea, but Sue should take a prominent role and I can see her taking a back seat in such a well establish team. I think it better that she leads a New Fantastic Four for a while, with Reed taking off to join the Avengers.
Of course, Reed should end up back with Sue. They belong together. He should eventually return to the FF, with Sue remaining in charge. That would be interesting.
And anyhow, if Ross and Rachel can make it up, I am sure that Sue and Reed can

There was a (so-called) funny "What If", one page thing a few years back entitled "What if Wolverine really was in every comicbook". Best panel was him, in Riverdale, slicing off Reggie's head while all the other's gasped in horror. I liked it.
