After posting yesterday, I remembered his origin story about "dying." I think there is a very good chance of him coming back (which is probably why he was killed). Thanks for that additional info, Rokk; I wasn't aware of all of his reincarnations. The current JLA series (I believe it was in issue #1) suggests that he isn't currently around, though.
"Justice League Unlimited" #29 (yes, I'm going to continue to push this title - they're good stories in most cases and just because it's for the "Johnny DC" youth line it doesn't mean the book doesn't work for adults; last issue's Christmas special with the Phantom Stranger, Flash and Batman had one of the most gut-wrenching Batman scenes I've ever read).
I know this is off-subject for 52 discussion, but I have to say how much I agree with you about that title. I enjoy the JLU comic MUCH MUCH more than I do the regular universe JLA series.
Did you notice that Adam Beechen is writing Robin?

I try to pretend it's a different Adam as it feels like he's still trying to get his bearings on "Robin" (and to his credit, I don't think he's the one that made the call to have Cassie go "dark", he just got stuck writing the mandated tale).
As for JLU, hey, anytime a series writes a good enough story featuring Vibe that I'm interested in seeing a follow-up tale, that says something.
"Nobody important? That's amazing. You know, in 900 years of traveling time and space I've never met someone who wasn't important."

My guess is the same that it's always been: Supernova is Booster Gold. The REAL Booser. The superhero Booster, not the sellout Booster.
He knows Skeets.
He knows the Fortress of Solitude AND the City of Kandor.
Ralph Dibney is "aware" of him. He knows who he is under the mask.
He's working with Rip. Timetraveller, working with the master of Time.
He knew the Batcave.
He knew where all those 'artifacts' were and how to get them.
He doesn't know Cassie or Conner. At least not very well.
He acts with, at times, Booster's care free attitude.
He's never seen with the Blue Beetle (guilt, perhaps?)
We know a few people he's not, or should not be. He's not a member of the Big Three. Nor any of the Batfamily. No Birds of Prey. He's not a GL. Cyborg and most of the Titans are out. Flash is a no-no. He's no one else in 52. He's not Rip. He's not...etc etc etc.
The only other possibility I can see is the new Starman from JSA. But he's sane, and he doens't have the same power set as Starman. So if that's the case, there'd need to be a major thing happening to him in the 52.
If it is, then the DC writers really screwed up. Supernova didn't know who Superman was, Ray does, Booster doesn't.
I really hope that the preview is a red herring, mainly because DC has been very good about keeping every suprise under lock and key, and this preview would be a huge dissapointment.
I still think Buddy might be back from the dead by One Year Later, as Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman were considering him for membership in the League at that time.
Of course, it's possible word of his death hadn't gotten around, but do you think anyone can die, anywhere in the DC universe, without Batman somehow knowing?
From waht I hear the tease deaths are merley that, incluuding the stuff with Question. The actual death wont occur until WW3 and the odds on favorite is definetly Black Adam with Steel running second. BA will probaly die as unlike most of these charcters who would be out fo the public eye in OYL how could he and with the info that we got from Wizard that someone is goiung to nuke Biayla that looks like BA and likley the instigation for WW3 and his death

NO SANTA LEFT BEHIND
Not Just Another Empty Political Slogan
They'll kill Isis, Black Adam will get ticked, and thus the war shall begin. Or I could be wrong.
And the new Dr Fate will be... Wolverine's long-lost son. Or not.
