As for GA, trust me when I say this: Ollie is better off not having Winnick write him. Lord, he's sucked the life out of Ollie, as far as I'm concerned. The only issue I bought after Winnick took over was the Anarky one shot...I think #51 and that was oodles better than the carp Judd turned out.

Don't worry. Ollie is too good (and with Dinah, even better!) to keep out for long.

I've read about 8 issues of Winnick's Green Arrow, and loved them. I think it's a shame that the series is comiing to an end. I should've added this to my pulls list years ago.

She's both traditional and professional...so she'll hyphenate Black Canary-Arrow.

this is a pity. this is one of the few books that got better OYL. While i am always first and foremost a hawkeye fan, i had really grown to love GA (a buddy lent me everything since the kevin smith relaunch a year or so ago) but if they do finally get married (please) and have a new title with both of them ill be very happy...we can lose mcdaniel tho..never been a big fan of his....

While I think that this is needlesly pandering to the 80's nostalgic demographic, it is hardly a cause for alarm. As long as they don't get Bruce Jones to write it...

Sorry, but for me the series ended after Winnicks first story arch(I was borred to tears) , I miss him doing Barry Ween though!

It's suppose to be a clone of Marvel's Black Panther and Storm book, only with Black Canary and Ollie. Course , it'll be a bit of a role reversal, as BC will be head of her own country and all.

The stories should be rework so that they seem more political along the lines of Checkmate (great comic).

Unlike Hudlin's Panther and Storm, Ollie and Dinah do have been romantically linked for years or decades even.

True, but then they can retcon them both into having been african royalty or something. It's easy, all they have to say is, those wigs BC wore off and on over the years weren't the only disguise. She then pulls off her face mask to reveal she is, indeed african. Of course, some writters will forget and insist she's african-american.

I enjoyed the Meltzer run when I wasn't collecting and when I started back up I made sure to put GA on the pull list. The 2 comics I ponder on dropping every month (Robin and Nightwing) don't get dropped but the one has been consistantly better (in the last years) gets dropped.

I'm cool with Ollie and Dinah tying the knot, it just bothers me that unless Ollie is a main star in Countdown, that I'll have to wait a year before I pick up another comic without Ollie. I just wish DiDito would bring back Barry or Wally because they f'ed that title up by putting in Bart. I just liked Bart as Impulse or Kid Flash, but not as THE Flash.
