Darkhawk isn't too flashy, but that mid-dial regen should be neat. Failing regen on a push here is actually a good thing. At 56 points, he fits in nicely with some New Warriors teams I have put together.
I appreciate the write-up; I hadn't been aware that Darkhawk's series lasted that long.
Looks like there's another figure in this set that the fanboy in me must have. I'm glad Darkhawk's included. Great issue. If only the wait between issues was always this quick, but quality should be prioritized over quantity of course.
Another good-looking issue, but as with most of the people I'm still focusing on the Avengers set info so far.
As pleased as I am to see Telekinetic Reach (though I'm surprised they just restricted it to options 2 & 3) I may be even moreso to see Fortitude and Stunning Blow re-validated and soon to be easily available to newer players. I have the Legacy versions, but it always made me a little sad to see how newer players didn't have them or had to pay through the nose to get them.
And, hey... Darkhawk. Weren't we just talking about him? A fun, little addition, and just the sort of character the new set design allows them to work in. Not a character I was clamoring for, but as with comics themselves there's room for everyone, and I don't begrudge anyone getting his favorites.
AND: Tuttle insinulated that a certain "smart-mouthed Green Lantern" will be in Justice League. I dunno if that's old news or not, but it's certainly exciting!
I've never been too much of a fan of Guy Gardner, but I know others are and it'll be great for finally get him.
I really liked the final article. It mirrored a lot of my thoughts about the new distribution. The internet makes it look like the game is dying, but the response from my players is largely positive. Great magazine, and I love the spoilers.

I actually thumbed through this issue, since it didn't take upwards of ten minutes to open like it usually does.
Minor Nitpick: As terrific as the Astonishing X-men mods are, they seem to have been repeated over and over again in the document itself. It's more kind of puzzling, then anything bad or annoying.
Thing I like: I actually enjoy the non heroclix articles more than the Heroclix articles. Most Heroclix articles run along similar lines, which is just the nature of the game, there is only so much to write about. As a result, I find myself mostly glossing over them or ignoring them altogether as I read through. I actually read the majority of the Horrorclix article and the SWM articles, though. To be fair, this might be because I already know tons about HC, and jack about these other games.
The Le is doing good layout work, even if I don't think the Springer stuff is funny anymore. You should give him a raise.
1) I'm in love with SHIELD teams...but why was a Shiar/Kree mentioned in that article?! Seriously!? And get R. Psylocke on there ASAP!
1b) There are lots of good 300/400 point SHIELD teams (Both pure, and theme...and especially good in restricted)...we should have gotten 1 or two (teams included), IMO.
2) The Mercenary Article...please please please STOP suggesting Nightmare (or other 120+ point figures) as a Mercenary to share attack values/whatever. Don't forget that the Mercenary only works if the character is adjacent to a higher point cost figure with the appropriate team ability. Everytime I see this flavor of suggestion, I have serious doubts that the person making the suggestion is firing on all cylinders.
The Dela Paz mods are so awesome I didn't mind seeing them twice!
Big kudos for fixing the graphics such that the pdf opens and pages much faster than in the past.
