Quick question about LJ's placement. Again, I don't own the maps, and I have very little experience playing on outdoor maps, but I was under the impression that to get up on the building, LJ has to use the ladder or stairs or whatever that deal is at T1 in order to then get to U1. I was also under the impression that the T1 square would thus be considered elevated, and since DT isn't compatible with phasing, LJ would be forced to stop his movement once he hits T1 and becomes adjacent to the Professor. I am (unfortunately for me) probably wrong about this, and if so, I will chalk it up to a learning experience for me.

Wow, I hadn't even thought about the "no more butt-swings", I was thinking about the terrain, but taking into account the LOSH rules, I do think LJ will have to go to S1/T1. I will post in the main forum to ask about adjacency. If they would not be adjacent at T1 and U2, I will leave him in his pre-move spot.

yeah I was absent minded about that move, so inoder to fix the situation I think leaving LJ at the original spot is the best move since he can't swing anymore but I would like to know the answer since it might come up

I do believe a grounded figure like Sue can go up the stairs via T1 and stop at U1 but I'm not sure about LJ since he is a double base and I would assume that U1/T1 are different elevations,... I was banking on the butt swing.

I would love to go to WWC if I was there. I live in Mississippi though, and gotta stay home to go to work and help wife with the kids. I'll take my turn shortly and I'll put LJ back where he was originally. I did post the question on the main forum, if for no other reason than to indulge our curiousity.

Incidentally, while I was looking through the LOSH rulebook for something else, I stumbled upon the difference between stairs and ladders. The bottom and top of stairs are considered adjacent even though they are different elevations (in our map for example, B18 is grounded and C18 is elevated, but they are adjacent), for ladders (like T1 vs U1) the character must go through both squares to move up and down, but the squares are different elevations and NOT adjacent. Thus, our dilemma about butt-swinging was pretty much moot.

dah, where did you go? I tried to go to the one at GEM since it was listed on the WK website but when I got there they said there was no tournament, it was just a placeholder for the galactus tourney

I'm home now but I bought the LOSH set and 2 avengers boosters--got a cap and bucky SR, so i guess that's pretty good, right? Oh, and if you ever want to try out your tourney team online, let me know.

yeah Astro city didn't have anything either,... but good news they are going to sell a brick of Avengers for 70.00 for the CoG so if you want to do it you can't beat that price and since I was there I bought my first pack and got Winter Soldier SR so it wasn't that bad no gaming though
also if you buy the brick for the CoG and you miss a few tourneys they will hold the herlds for you
