Today's victory over the Yankees brought them back to one game behind in the wild card race with 26 games remaining.

The Ms are far from dead. Todays game should hopefully get them back on track and ready to roll into the playoffs.

True, true. It's a little irritating to be the chasers instead of the chasees, but at least all hope isn't dead yet. Now to smack around Phil Hughes...

The one we got over the Yanks was a sweet one. Especially as Ichiro got hit #200 in the form of a Home Run!

I'm really hoping they can recapture some of the dynamite they've been exhibiting this season; especially in the bullpen. It's been one of the best in baseball at times -- recently it's been, well, not so much.

Hopefully having today off will get them back to their winning ways. They seem to be in desperate need of a day off. Plus they get to play the slumping Tigers tomorrow, and have some really easy opponents left down the stretch like the Devil Rays.
