NO NOT THE WRECKER!!! He sucks. BAD. I played him once. For jokes of course in the pre-release. Needless to say, I got beat. BAD. Why would you make a figure that bad? WHY!?! It pains me to see him. I wince in sheer PAIN when I see his horrible crowbar and 230 point value. I really think that anyone who plays him deserves fellowship.
Nice to see such a great number of really playable figs in the Rare catagory. Call me crazy, but I think the harder they are to get, the less they should suck. I'm looking right at you, Wrecker!
As per the PAC, the movement aspect of Leap/Climb only activates when the character is given a move action. Since the other aspect of Green Scar's SP is a power action, they don't work together.
It's not that I disagree with you, but people will argue. He doesn't have L/C, he has "Smash", Smash let's him use L/C, then describes how you can move and attack. Since it says you can move, people will say he can use, or should be able to use L/C when moving and attacking.
I'm not argueing, I'm merely speculating that there will be arguements over it. They will argue that because it is a special power, it will grant the use of the move action with the power action. S'all I'm saying.
The life lessons included with the Ahab review, for me, elevated today's batch above the already high Azs primer standard. Come for for the figure reviews. Stay for the embetterment.
Black Tom makes for a good addition to my Brotherhood King Magneto Barrier team. I wish Unus just had one damage down his dial, then he might be cheap enough to field as the ultimate Tie-up figure.
As others have said, since Archangel needs to break away to finish moving the power needs a rewrite; I hate SP's that need errata to be understood!

I guess Danger is this set's figure where AZS goes against popular opinion. If 11 attack, psychic blast, outwit, probability control, and that awesome special power, followed up by a more than decent dial for an affordable 124points doesn't warrant 5 stars I don't know what will. Angel and Danger getting the same rating is something I didn't really expect.

And they'll be wrong. The only aspect of Leap/Climb that works with Smash is the ability to ignore elevation when making a close-combat action. As far as the movement goes, Leap/Climb requires a move action, and the move-attack requires a Power action. It's no different than Pounce.
Let me just say up until this review I want to say your common and uncommon reviews I feel were spot on, but I want to chime in the disagreement with several of your rare ratings. AoA Jean getting a 3 smiley rating vs archangel 4 I really don't see archangel ever being a more valued addition to a team. I don't think Black tom deserves a 5 over danger or several of the others, while outwit is nice if he gets hit even for a moderate amount he's 60 points of waste. Anyway thats just my opinion from seeing some of those figures played. Keep up on the reviews .
I have to disagree on two points. First, I don't think Black Tom is a must play. He's 55 points, and only has one click of stealth, one click of outwit, and this map is not very stealth friendly, but it is extremely packed with chargers. Any 9 attack charger will be able to easily take away Black Tom's usefulness, and many lower cost figures likely to be played will be able to handle him (The Hood, Zombie Spidey, etc). I'd give him 4 stars, but 5 is too generous.
Also, Danger is what I consider a must-play. She's kind of high points, but man can she make half of the powers on the PAC worthless. No ESD or CR, no Super Strength, no RCE or CCE, no Perplex. Meanwhile, she's rolling with a 17 Invuln, 11 attack 3 damage PB, and Special Power Probability Control + Fortitude. The only things she fears are Psychic Blast and Combat Reflexes. She might be my new favorite dial. She's really pushing the envelope of broken.

Who knew that the Danger Room was able to look into the DC heroclix set and work out how to field the Outsiders team ability on 'roids?
I agree with you -- Danger seems like a very strong clix.
I played Green Scar, Fabien Cortez and the phasing pog at the Pre-Release on Saturday. Hulk was the PERFECT fit for Fabien's special power. I hit the +3, 4 times in 3 games and was never disappointed in the payment click of damage! Unfortunately, I played a double outwit team my first game and could not recover. The other 2 games I owned but vs a more inexperienced player and a poor bastard playing Hulkbuster! Accurate outcome anyway!
Umm..... With so little hypersonic speed in the set, why wouldn't the Wrecker be good? If you pull some #### plus him he would be good to play. These reviews are always good. But whenever I come across someone who reads them and thinks that they are Bible, they usually end up with a whoopin'.
Yes I will be playing the Wrecker and his 9 clicks of invulnerability or better. When is that ever bad?
