Wow...ummm...Kid Flash is pretty dark broken. He can phase through stuff and hit you!
UNLESS he can't do that when he uses HSS, but that's how I am reading this. when he moves...not when given a move action. I assume he can't punch me through a wall though because he'd need to be adjacent, but if he ignores charatcers during movement, can he punch while using their square during a HSS?????
Support the realms or you are stealing by reading this!
click my ebay link...updated for the week of 2/16/08!
Its good to see that they are making the point cost more economical like they have been doing for marvel's sets. I try mixing alot of the retired stuff, that I have to make teams. And wow, there is such a big differents in respects to how strong a dial is to the point cost. It really sux, seems like most of all my old stuff is a waste. Not very effective against the newer clix.

No, for the same reason the Unleashed Black Adam couldn't, when that question was asked then. All attacks, even when using HSS, must be made from a square the character could legally end their move on.
Not overly impressed with Batwoman (yet another cheap medium range single target incapper, only without any useful team ability).
But Kid Flash. Egads, as others have stated he is a beast. Just as I thought M&M had killed the "put a no brainer to play common in the first couple slots of the checklist" streak (JL Batman, AV Iron Man), Crisis brings it back with a vengeance. Iron Man, at least, was expensive enough to not *always* be a sealed event must play, but this guy is basically "pull him, play him, no questions asked".
Personally I like the trend. The most cost effective figures should be the easy to get ones, levels the playing field between the haves and have nots.
Kid Flash is the answer to the ultimate Cheese teams ie underbult barrier teams.
Only if they leave a gap inside the wall to attack from - you still need to be in an empty square to attack. Otherwise all he can do is zoom through the Barrier and its contained figures and give everyone the ineffective finger zooming back out.

For the most part I tend towards the other direction. There's still no more cost effective Support piece than the Paramedic. No more cost effective Prob Controller than XP Destiny / FF Scarlet Witch. Best cheap Outwit figures are still IC Black Panther and Icons Batman. Few new pieces match the cost effective snipers of ULT Hawkeye, Icons Blackfire, etc. The best TK figures are pretty much all retired now, as well.
There are plenty of good figures in the newer sets (AV and JL, at least), but there are *lots* of retired figures that more than hold their own.
