Morgan Le Fay's eyes flash an intense green, appearing visible for a split second. She attempts to mind control Wizard, Paste Pot Pete and the Con Artist. 9 AV vs 16 DV (Pete) vs 15 DV (Wizard) vs 13 DV (Deadpool's 'Lady Friend'), needs a 4 for the Con Artist, a 6 for Wizard and a 7 for them all. Wow, an aspect I completely had not considered, either. I gotta say, you two, even without the story-posting, the game itself is a compelling read. Lots of ups and downs and failed/successful scheming. I love it.

Yeah, I thought it was pretty wicked. I'm pretty sure Wizard gets the KO, as despite the fact that Deadpool did the last damage, it was Wizard's TK placement that caused Black Queen to go down. I gave it to him.

Disciples of the Darkhold Turn 5:

1) "You will pay for your resistance, weakling!" Nadia grabs Wizard by the collar and bites his neck. 7 AV vs 15 DV, needs an 8. Roll is (6, 5), hits. Nadia's fangs rip Wizard's flesh open and he takes 2 clicks before pushing her away. The vampires gain 1 SA.

2) "Ahhhh, sweet sweet blooood..." Voica pushes to leap upon Wizard. 7 AV vs 14 DV, needs a 7. Roll is (2, 6), hits. The slavering vampire bears Wizard to the ground and sinks her fangs into his left cheek. She drains his blood and he takes 2 clicks and is KOed. The vampires gain 1 SA and 1 KO. Voica takes 1 click for the push.

3) Lena slinks to K-11 and lurks in the shadows at the bottom of the stairs.

Free) "Taskmaster? I know of you as well. You are too dangerous to remain unmolested." Diablo hurls another vial off the roof and in Taskmaster's general direction. It explodes, and the weeds near the building wall burst into growth, tangling the super villain's footing -- outwits ES/D.

1) "You fools should never have come here. The Darkhold cannot be harnessed by the likes of You!" Morgan's form momentarily appears and she hurls triple bolts of crackling black arcane power (pychic blast), targeting Mr. Mind, Taskmaster and Pete. 9 AV vs 19 (Mr. Mind) vs 17 DV (16 + 1 perplexed, Taskmaster) vs 15 DV (Pete), needs a 6 for Pete, an 8 for Taskmaster and a 10 for them all. Roll is (6, 2), the blasts hit Taskmaster and Paste Pot Pete. Fortunately for Pete, Morgan disdains him -- the energy of the bolt mostly disappates, leaving only a slight stinging sensation. Taskmaster, however, takes the full brunt of the blast and is seared with dark, arcane energies -- takes 2 clicks. Morgan gains 1 SA and Diablo gains 1 AST.
