Kinda hard to be a sniper with a chaingun...

Though I would have liked to see SOME Marvel characters with Sharpshooter here in this set.

I agree with this

Chain Gun activates after the successful attack, But it does not return until after said attack

To use Speedster's turn of phrase, the power continuously checks to see if it applies. By the time it returns, the attack has already been resolved

I'd like to agree with all that say yes, he can use it if after making the attack if Outwit is gone, but I don't think that was GD intent, and I feel that it will be ruled the other way, that he can't use it after.

BTW, I used him last night, and he was awesome. Dealt about 20 Damage (maybe more now that I think about it) and took out 330 or so points in figures.

And that's where chain gun says "after the resolution." And you're saying "after the resolution" in so many words.

1. If I have Punisher on a rooftop (edge of elevated terrain), then I ignore figure bases at ground level for line of fire, right? So if I use Chaingun and shoot at (let's say) a Green Lantern surrounded by 8 passengers, then that's 8 other adjacent targets to whom I have a clear line of fire. I can make 9 attacks using one action?

Bingo. And if you roll doubles, you deal penetrating. Not Psychic Blast, penetrating. There's a big difference.

When you roll doubles with Chaingun, or use the penetrating attack of the Qwardian Thunderer, you deal penetrating damage, but you do not use Psychic Blast. Starro, Anti-Monitor, and most other Colossals are not "affected by... Psychic Blast...". Psychic Blast is penetrating damage. Penetrating damage is not Psychic Blast.

Why are you bringing up Repulsor Shield? It's mentioned in none of the posts above?

Because if you play in unrestricted, and someone has equipped that feat, you can go right through that Feat with Punisher rolling doubles with Chaingun or with the Qwardian Thunderer.

Repulsor Shield is what non-colossal figures use to ignore penetrating damage from Psychic Blast.
