Society: Turn 5

1) Jinx notices that she's slightly out of place and side-steps to a more auspicious location, moving to L11

2) The medic administers a booster-shot to the Hive trooper to help him get over his sudden irrational fear and take a shot at the elusive spirit that seems to be sapping his will. Hive trooper shoots Lobster Johnson. 9 (+1 from the medic's Hydra TA) atk. vs 15 def. Needs a 5. Roll is: (1,1) for a 2 and a critical miss (and boy am I glad I didn't send in Black Adam for that attack!)! Thankfully, Jinx is in a position to help with a little magic. Second roll is: (5,2) for a 7 and a hit! Lobster Johnson takes 2 and looses Outwit, just in time for the trooper to regain Willpower! 1 AST for Jinx and 1 SA for the Hive trooper. No pushing damage thanks to Willpower.

2) Black Adam, not quite sure what just happened tries to break for a strategic retreat. Roll is: 2 and a failure (not big shock there...). Jinx tries to fix that with her PC. Second roll is: 4 and a success (thank you Jinx!)! Black Adam swiftly flies to J9, picking up an LO on the way and takes 1 from the push.

Slight problem with that turn. If Abe wants to perplex himself, then he has to turn off Stealth for the entire turn, and if he does that, then Jinx can see him too! (and without the perplex that attack wouldn't hit in the first place)
